Worth every single cent in my opinion, after viewing those amazing pics. I've always wanted to do something like that... Korea seems like a nice place, and the food pics are mouth-watering! Oh yeah and Artosis and Jangbi and DRG and Tasteless are all awesome... I wish I could do something like that.

Nice, I want to go to korea too see the best players in the world live. But also to see the sights. Don't think I want to live there because I like the US just fine, but I like seeing new things and I like SC 2 lol

Wow, I'm jealous.
@heeroFX, I'd like to go too! Actually I wouldn't mind living there for a while if anyone knows any good IT job openings

It was nice meeting you, it was definitely a good day!
And I recommend everyone who has the chance to watch the OSL finals to watch it. It's the last professional BW match ever!

Looks like you had an amazing time! Really happy for you ^^
Who were you most excited/ happy to meet? Have you been to other competitions/ events before? How does this compare?

Jealous, it's something I really want to do so I'm saving my pennies this year so I can go traveling next summer and will include a trip to South Korea :p

Great photos thanks for sharing, and GOM studio does look even tinier than I thought.

Gah, so jealous! Great photos. :D
How long was your stay? Did you have a tour guide or anything?
I'd love to go, but I'm terrified that I'd get completely lost.
My boyfriend and I were fantasizing about going to Korea just to see the GSL. :D Luckily, we're also big F1 fans and there just so happens to be a F1 track in Korea. Maybe we can knock both dreams out in one trip? Haha (too bad the track is like a 5 hr train ride from Seoul T_T)

I stayed for 14 days.
I did not have a tour guide, but I was couchsurfing(through couchsurfing.org), and all of the hosts were kind and showed me around. The subway system there is pretty easy to understand and navigate in, so it's easy to get to the places you want to go(as long as you know the station name). The biggest problem is probably that very few koreans speak english. Some are rather good at it, but too shy to speak, and others just don't know it at all. I never had any big problems with getting around or anything, so you should definitely go! It might be more difficult to find people to stay with through CouchSurfing.org since you are a couple, but I know at least one host who could host you both! And you'll always find a place to be.

Great pics thanks for sharing.
I wonder, how did you know about all this events (GSL/BW ones) ? I'm going to Korea next month and I really want to watch as much bw/sc2 as possible. Do you have a website to check that kind of thing or just.. TL? ;D
Couchsurfing seems like a great idea.. still don't know if I should do that or youth hostel.. hm~.~
Anyway, thanks!
edit: Great! Thanks a lot I will consider couchsurfing then!

TL calendar and gomtv.net!
I totally recommend Couchsurfing!
