If the pictures were already online it's NP, otherwise it's a dick move.
It is my opinion that skilled application of make-up is supposed to look natural -- if someone who doesn't know you can tell you are wearing make-up, it means you did a bad job at putting on make-up.
The exception would be if you have already reached the other side of uncanny valley and are going for a clear "body art" effect. In this case, unskilled use would be when a stranger can't tell if you are wearing make-up or have some sort of unnatural deformity.

How is that naive? It's sad that we've come to the point where if a female face not slathered in paint and chemicals, we find it unattractive and not feminine. Billions of dollars are made by perpetuating this concept of "beauty". Health and hygiene > beauty products.

Remove those pics man. I made a grave mistake of posting pictures of this girl I was dating, and someone knew her irl. Nonetheless the relationship ended and I was labeled as a creep. Makeup can look good though. I love when my girlfriend gets "sexy", as in does her hair, makeup and wears a dress.

Meh... It's naive because if you take away fashion sense, makeup, expensive hair cuts etc etc superficial things, what you're left with is an absolutely tiny portion of the female population who have adjusted poorly to their society (even if such demands are unfair). To say that women who use make up (presumably the op is not talking about a hooker amount of make up, but something relatively normal) are somehow less real or attractive is pretty silly. Most women accept at least some of society's expectations so that they can function properly within it. I think this post is calling it naive because if you did take away all those things women do to play up their feminimity, you would be pretty shocked just how artificial your concept of feminimity is (even beyond the 'billions of dollars' made perpetuating it, but the very foundation of your ideas of what a woman is)... Like if a girl had fritzy hair, no makeup, and hairy legs, you would probably be pretty judgemental. Reason I include all these other things with make up is because they are not much less a product of time spent 'fooling' you.
I'll say that's it's nice to have a moderate perspective of how much time should be put into these things, but it's naive to think you can spend no time and still be functional and attractive in our society.
edit: In the future I'd avoid go-to cliches like CHEMICALS and the man getting rich off our suffering... They make it sound like you don't know what you're talking about. Chemicals are such an offensive buzzword these days, you might as well turn your brain off as soon as you hear it because the next 3 minutes are going to be worthless.

So you're saying basically it is a necessary evil, or at least a necessary facet of society that must be accepted rather than changed. Chemicals is an accurate word, probably moreso than paint. I don't see how pointing out that an industry worth billions owes its existence to the perception that "no-makeup = homely" is some stylistic transgression.
