The main reason for me creating this blog is to practice some english writing skills (so excuse the mistakes please) and also that it will be harder to chicken out again in the middle of my upcoming journey
When Starcraft 2 got announced the first time I like many others thought immediatly: that's going to be my chance to play at the top and i'm going to train hard to achieve this goal. So as the beta started and I obviously wasn't among the lucky ones, I had to get myself a key on other ways which cost me even more than the collectors edition later on... Everything started smoothly, I choose terran because I admired many terran playing BW pros. As the beta finally got to an end, I was fairly confident with my play, none of my friends stood a chance and I won some small fun tournaments :D. Everything seemed fine, but at that point I didn't realize that a harsh journey was laying before me, best described with this:

At that time, I was still in my apprenticeship as an IT system technician and my life caught up to me. I had only time to play a few games a day after release and got placed in the diamond league at first, which made me quite happy at that time. Some reallife friends also playing the game were stuck in copper to gold and as the masters league got intorduced, I of course had to brag that I will be in there in no time, but boy was I wrong. Without further talk, I introduce to you my career, a thing embarassing to an unimaginable extent:

There we go, it's out. I was stuck in a circle - whenever i played, doesn't matter if I won or lost, I always raged at myself for not being able to keep up with my macro and micro. After 2-3 games I wasn't able to take it anymore and got stuck in that hell.
But no more of this, the days of mourning shall soon be over! My passion awakened again! Not a small factor was also that a few friends and I attended a barcraft in switzerland lately, and got into a discussion with a pretty established swiss team. Obviously after a while they asked for our league and the diamond horror and all feelings connected to it came up once again. I've finished my apprenticeship and worked a year to stock up some money, now I've got almost a year to do something I have truly a passion for - to become pro! (or at least break out of diamond, lol)
I will start streaming my journey starting around august and hopefully you will soon see me attending some smaller tournaments
. As for now after trying every race, I will stick to terran and you can expect a playstyle that does seem to produce a lot of rage, such as the following:Warning, pretty obscene
