So, a couple of days ago i heard someone saying that whenever he went to the bathroom, he'd put some toilet paper sheets on the edge of the toilet and then sat on it avoiding having to deal with the cold feeling you get on your legs when you gotta go.
I've seen this on some movies (One of the 'American Pie' movies come to my mind), but i've never actually done it, so i decided to give it a try. Guess what, i felt like the freaking king of England. My legs felt warm, i was sitting on a cushion of clouds for what i could tell.
But then when i finished minding my own business, a question popped into my head, what do i do with these pieces of paper? Should i throw them? It's not like they're dirty or something, i just sat on them, at the top they'd be a little warm. But on the other hand, i'd have to stand up to get them so i could use them to wipe myself, and what if they stick into my leg, that'd be a little annoying, but i'd probably feel guilty if i throw away unused paper.
So, i get this is an unusual topic, and of course an unusual blog, but what would you do?

I do it so as to not sit on other people's shit on the toilet seat.
Nasty stuff lives on those toilet seat covers, throw the paper away.

Use it to wipe yourself if you want to conserve.
Otherwise, flush them.
I use a towel underneath my feet when I hit on the jon

In some public bathrooms, there are dedicated one-use toilet seat covers that you can use to cover the toilet seat. I personally never used one myself because I just wipe the toilet seat before sitting down, but it's an option in some places.

I do my best to ensure my skin touches as few things as possible in public bathrooms.
use em or flush em, those are really our only options
Also, for at home, clearly you'll want one of these:

Fap and have a use for those warm towelets!! or not your choice!!
I never ever use public bathrooms for any sit down biz. My wife makes fun of me cause Ill drive a distance just to go home and use my own room..

Years ago I had magnets surgically implanted into my buttocks to avoid just such a question. Whenever nature deems, I simply slip a disposable magnet sheet under the seat and hover.

That's what I do as well....I can only remember 2 instances of when I used a public bathroom for a number 2 and those were some critical moments.

You are the first person i have ever heard of that enjoys it.
But i will admit when i am sweating from the heat it does feel nice to sit on a nice cold toilet even if its cold for only 3 seconds.
I use to put toilet paper on the seat just cause i was a bit of a germphobia, but after college i don't care any more unless the thing literally has piss or shit on the toilet seat im bare ass. I mean cmon gotta save the earth right?

Yes, fuck public bathrooms.

I know all the rumors about catching disease from a toilet seat are mostly untrue - but I definitely throw down the layer before I sit.
I'd rather not sit in someone's shit or piss, thanks.

Its a must in public bathrooms but sitting on those cushions on a hot day doesn't make things better.

Wooden seat. Usually not too cold in the winter and not too hot in the summer, just some splinters once in a while.

I do like that cold porcelain feel, but only at my house. I've gone through school days before needing to take a 20 kilo shit and just held it in until I got home.
But whenever I get those hershey squirts, a cool ring around my ass always feels welcome

The reason for putting paper over the seat is because people are effin' disgusting, pissing/shitting/spitting/jacking all over on the seat, etc... Didn't know it was that hard to aim but I guess it is for some. Personally, I only use public toilets for piss. I take my dumps at home.

I carry antiseptic wipes with me, and use those to clean any seat before I sit.
It's my only option to stave off the ocd that plagues me!

edit: funny that OP mentioned american pie, and we've got a few shit breaks here of our own haha

Worst bit is cold feet on the floor (slate tiles) my god.. I pull the shower mat thing over.. And what? Sitting on toilet paper is more uncomfortable, especially when you get distracted by your sudoku puzzle and end up sat there for 15 minutes..

I use public bathrooms only as a last resort (huge ass stomach ache in school and don't think I can wait the rest of the day).
Just toss-em.

Maybe I'm just the weird one for liking cold seats, but those just gross me out. If anyone else has ever used one, I would just be disgusted. What if they took a piss and accidentally hit the cover? What if someone got jizz on it? Have they ever washed it? The cool, hard porcelain just feels much more clean to me. I don't often use public bathrooms because they are pretty dirty, but when I'm at home or at someone's house I always prefer the porcelain. I made a poll to what the general preference is as far as toilet seats go.
Poll: How do you like your toilet seat?Cold (Porcelain) (2) 100% Warm (Covers, TP) (0) 0% 2 total votes Your vote: How do you like your toilet seat? (Vote): Warm (Covers, TP) (Vote): Cold (Porcelain)
