I went to MLG Anaheim along with a friend. It was both of our first real SC2 experience. It was really cool and seeing all these pros, casters, and personalities was a real shocker. And I got to see Thorzain up close @@ and a lot of other pros and cool people! Being at the event was something else, but I think I would almost prefer seeing broadcasts at home (too spoiled to be on liquipedia and surf the internet while waiting on downtime.)
It was quite OMG like moments in my head when we went past pros or was near one. ><
I was so sad when Stephano lost the game that got him out of the tournament. :<
I was so happy I got day9's signature too on the last day at the big barcraft. :O

I didn't tell him I did the try to make it look like an add thing. (I had such bad problems trying to print in color on photo paper and I ended up doing it in black and white, which made it even more classy!)
We also got to play HotS as well, which was really fun. Getting to play all races vs AI, then doing a 1v1 with my friend (which was really hard when I got too happy using the swarm host) After getting some taste of HotS, I am looking forward what the pros will make out of it.
(Sorry about my sucky photos. TT I messed with them a bit, I am not used to taking photos indoors without my flash attachment, which I didn't want to use. I took a lot, but a bunch of them were either very dark, very noisy, or blurry.)

Overall MLG in person was cool for a first time!
