First things first. I promised a happier blog after my last one... + Show Spoiler +

I've actually just had another cousin die, my cat, my watch.. multiple other strange events. I can only laugh at this point, it's actually amusing to me.
UEFA 2012. Any of you who are following this at the moment and who hate Spain with a passion are my friends for life. After watching them defeat Germany 1-0 for the last FOUR years it's time for a little revenge. I'm a huge fan of Germany and have been since 2006 after seeing Jens Lehmann shut down Argentina in what was then a very large upset during penalty shots. (I myself was a keeper for 14 years and what he did still blows my mind)
Anyway although Germany does not have their Captain Michael Ballack, and is not playing Klose for God knows what reason they can come up with... Klose being quite possibly the best goal scorer in the world at the moment in major tournaments... They are still undefeated. 3-0 through groups taking out Portugal, the Netherlands, and Denmark late last night. I simply could not be happier with how they've been playing. They've hit Greece for the quarter-final match and I'll be looking forward to watching them win and advance. This year it's my turn to see my team win! Not to lose 1-0 to Spain... To anybody who has teams playing against Spain, I'll be rooting for you guys
I know the theme is supposed to be Happy but KiraKira is possibly the only thing I've read/played in recent years that choked me up badly. It is a VN developed by Overdrive and released in 2007. I got my first chance to play it about a week ago and finished it in three days. Blasterion would be proud. I highly suggest he plays through this and writes his own review of it. I would love to read it. Actually I make this a command and demand it!
I should pause for a moment and tell you that in books, tv shows, movies ect. I get very attached to some characters. I don't know why but it happens. Less in movies but for example in AMC's The Walking Dead I absolutely love Glen. anyway...
You play the role of Shikanosuke Maejima. If I had one complaint it is that his personality seems to change from the introduction to when he meets Kirari. I'm not trying to write this as a full review, maybe I will when I feel like spending 5 hours on it lol
KiraKira only has three routes to choose from but each route has an extremely different (very long) story line to follow through.
The heroine of the story Kirari Shiino instantly became my favourite of any VN I have read.
Chie Isurugi - Shikanosuke's childhood friend and has probably the most well-written story line.
Sarina Kashiwara - Rich, well mannered, sickly ect. ect. ect. you get the basic idea. My least favourite character but very well developed.
What to say about KiraKira... You form a punk band, go on tour through some very strange going-ons and basically take off on an adventure. I made the mistake of going down Kirari's route first. Needless to say these things never have a very good ending on the first play through but this one takes the cake. I'd actually recommend anybody who wants to play a VN start with this one or Fate/Stay Night. Both are equally long but a lot of fun to read and the hint of 'choose your own adventures' that comes with it is fairly nice for a change of pace. I loved it, I hated it, I almost cried. ALMOST! They haven't got me yet! lol but it helped get my mind off things and got rid of a ton of stress.
LASTLY! The most amazing Album I have bought since Ten Thousand Days by TooL. maybe Ten Thousand Fists from Disturbed. I speak as each is in their own genre. I do not compare them I simply express their important in their own musical genre. Music is always a touchy subject for some reason... dunno why... respect music you don't like unless it actually IS "garbage, trash" what ever people seem to want to call ALL country music because they don't understand the style. I don't listen to it myself I can't stand it but why do people need to hate things they don't understand. Oh well THIS IS ABOUT CELLDWELLER! And their new Album WHICH FINALLY WAS RELEASED! Wish Apon a BlackStar.
I Have been waiting since 2007~ for this album to be released. It did not disappoint. Better yet. I can actually hear and feel the albums blends over the years from the order of the tracks. I can see the different styles he (celldweller is a single person, Scott Albert, known as Klayton) has tried out during these years and it's like a small journey for me. The mix is (arguably) Metal, Alt Rock, Drum n Bass, Dubstep, Electronic for the most key elements and other samples here and there.
Anybody who likes any of these genres might LOVE this album. Nothing is too commanding but nothing falls apart or is missing. I listened to it once and thought it was one of the best things I've heard recently. Listened to it again and noticed things I hadn't the first time. I sat down for an hour and 15 minutes and did nothing. It was unbelievable. I wish I felt like writing details but this is already long enough as it is. I could honestly write something this long on each subject but... I don't post blogs too often and three all in a row is too much for me. And if Blasterion happens to read this I'd love to talk to you about any other VN's that you might have been impressed by. I'd love to have some order to things instead of randomly selecting the next one I might try to read.
For my next blog I was actually wondering what I should write about. I was/am the manager for a sc2 team, was in the Canadian Military as a Sig Op, played soccer for 16 years, Love anime. Played broodwar for 8 years. Take your pick. I make these for the five of you who comment on them xD
