Hello TL'ers
Sorry for the lack of updates over the past while. As things have been rather hectic in my life and I am been doing lots of different things. I hope this blog helps clear up a lot of things that are happening and will happen.
I am leaving the prime team house this week. Its not for a lack of trying to stay in the house, but things were not able to work out like I had hoped. Its not my fault nor Prime fault, just when I originally contacted prime. I had told them I would stay for only 4 months, and I didn't explain to them that I had hoped to make it a long term deal if things were to go well. So once I brought the idea to them of staying for longer. They were surprised and didn't know this, and are unable to accommodate me for a longer stay.
So it wasn't really their fault, nor mine, but prime really wants to keep only prime players in the house, and not bring in much (if any) foreigners, and if they do, they will only bring in foreigners of whom they have a relationship with (such as the invictus gaming players, or players from Tt Apollos). Which is understandable, as the prime house is rather small and it can get very cramped in here when everyone is in the house.
I have been looking for a place for the past couple of weeks, and will hopefully have some very very exciting news about my career for the next blog. Which for those who are curious about the new title. I am taking ideas for new blog title, and hope to make it consistent, and more regular.
Until then, I will be staying in a Goshiwon. Which is cheap and easy for me to stay in, since my funds are rather low, I have been able to extend my stay in Korea until Next February, that’s if I don't find a team, or a team house.
I will be maintaining a close relationship with prime, at least I want to. Many of the players I have become friends with, and I would hate to lose that because I move out.
Looking back at my time here, I feel like I could have done things better, some decisions I made weren't the best, nor did I take as much advantage of the players around me as I would have liked to.
I am a very introverted person by nature, so it took me a long time to start to reach out to the players and make connections. Which knowing what I do now, I wish I had done earlier. That is life though, we make mistakes, and we have things we would have wanted to do better, but thats the way things are and I can't go back and change that. So I will remember what I learned here about myself and aobut living in Korea and carry it with me throughout my adventures.
I learned a lot in my time here, and I won't forget the precious memories of my time here, I only hope that I will continue to make good memories in Korea. I hope you all will enjoy reading them in the future, and have enjoyed them so far in my previous blogs.
Regarding the Code A qualifiers. Due to my recent race switch, plus the large amount of stress of finding a place to live. I have not had the chance to really grind out the matches, but I still plan on playing and trying to qualify, though I don't like my chances, I think if I may be able to get some build order wins, and maybe make it past a good player in the qualifiers.
I am hoping once I get settled into my new place, I will be able to practice more and get into a routine and really have 2-3 solid builds for each MU.
So as usual I really don't have much else to say. I will hopefully have more to say though soon.
Until then, please follow me on twitter, and cheer for me! also feel free to asks questions to me on this blog.
Until Next time. Happy Starcrafting!

It'll be in Bucheon. The prime coach insists that I should stay close by. When I even metioned that I would be 20 minutes away. He said that it was too far and I should find somewhere closer. Which I think I may have. So likely I'll stay in Bucheon. Thats IF I stay in the goshiwon.

Man, I worry for you. Such a risky adventurer in a foreign land.
Then I see that desrow got on to eclypsia, and I have faith in you.
|
Man, i give it a 4 star and it gets 2 stars based on 3 ratings ... How can not give this at least 3 ?
|
Good luck! Hopefully the PRIME coach wants you close by so he can recruit you soon!

Good luck! Nice read.

Good luck man! Hope everything works out for you, being in a foreign county without support is crazy hard

Are you sure about this? You say you are a very introverted person, so once you are in the goshiwon, what exactly do you plan on doing?
Here's what I would do: Fuck starcraft. You are in gold league. You are not a talented player. You will most likely (and by that I mean most certainly) never even get close to qualify for Code A. Reading through your twitter, it doesn't seem like you are working your butt off to get better either.
Instead go out and explore your possibilities in Korea. Socialize, make connections, maybe discover new possibilities to stay in Korea long-term, try to get a work visa etc. etc.
I'm not saying this to offend you or anything, it's just what I believe is the only rational way to establish yourself in Korea. Good luck.

Is this true?
Are you staying in Korea to attempt to become a pro-gamer?
Fill me in on the details :o

No he is not. radrel is his account. There were vods of him playing on his twitch stream but it looks like he deleted them.

umm. I do own the account, but I don't play on it, when I do, I usally offrace or cheese and do stupid builds.
I asked lastshadow to level the account for a friend. A clanmate of mine who is using the account. I told ls it was my account, but didn't tell him I wasn't thge one using it. I asked him to level it because my friend had reached masters on his main account, but was too lazy to put the work in to get it to masters on my account, so he eventually just stopped using it.
You think I'm stupid enough to use my own ID on a account for playing? I own the account to make sure noone else takes the ID, and that I can use it if need be, but I have not used it in weeks.
in regards to my stream, again I don't play seriously on stream or anything. I was testing my stream to make sure it worked, doing 50 other things while playing.
I guess this is the trend though. other jealous foreigners try to belittle the ones who come here to practice. Seems to happen far too often to us.

and I love how you think you can read everything I do on my twitter? hmm, should I post everyday how I play 40-50 games, and what my win % is like? thats stupid and unneeded. My twitter I talk about funny or interesting things, I don't really talk about sc2 that much because sometimes talking about something than sc2 is a nice relief.
I mean, look at the number of Idra's on NA ladder, you could just pick the worst one and claim thats the real idra, but that would be false.
Like I said before, I do own the account, and Nick was playing on it for me. but it was because a clanmate was using it before for a while. I was kind of hoping this would come up anyways, because its a little bit of a troll. People shouldn't look too much into ladder rankings, at least with accounts that aren't the real ones.
I don't post my real account because I don't want people watching my every move, same reason I don't stream, I will be streaming soon, but likely no sc2 stuff.
