Well here i sitt. A home exam to be completed in 15 hours and its going rather slow. Then my bachelor thesis comes up and is to be done the 24th and there's alot of work still to be done on it. Twelve years is it since Diablo 2 came out? Twelve years i have waited, or ten would be more realistic but shit it's a long time. Whats another nine days right?!
I have what i call release yitters, this only occurs for me in multiplayer games. I feel like i HAVE to play or i will fall behind, i have to play asap! It was like this with Diablo 2, LoD, Unreal tournament 2k4, WoW ofcourse, SC2 and now D3. The last days i've gotten like nothing done, i sitt paralyzed looking at the screen. My only distraction has been working on exams when i am at the library from 10 - 18 and my daughter who goes to bed at 19. Every other waking minute is spent thinking about Diablo 3. IT's freaking sick.
But i need to shape the fuck up, D3 doesnt last forever but my thesis does(sorta). So anyone else out there that for whatever reason cannot play Diablo 3 for a couple of days? Want to start some form of support group? Bitch about it in here so those of us who cannot play feel that we are not alone!

Remember, Diablo 3 can be played solo, and there's no real benefit to having a head start.
The first few days might end up a wasteland of busy login servers anyways.
If you REALLY can't focus because of the jitters, just play it for an hour or two, then get back to work.

Diablo is the only Blizzard series I haven't played. For some reason it doesn't really appeal to me. The point as far as I can tell is to just go through dungeons looking for loot ...? Am I missing something here? .-.

I didn't even preorder it till today lol. I woke up to find a $10 Amazon gift card in my inbox that I got from completing some website survey a couple of weeks ago. Was still able to preorder it and get release-day shipping for $50. Curious if it really will come tommorow.

i won't be able to play for weeks because of no internet (ISP change to fibre).
doesn't really matter to me, i don't get all the fuzz about midnight sales and playing from the first second either.

Yeah, just got married and am on a budget of sorts until we figure out what we will actually be spending. The best thing you can do is study hard and have ti as a reward for being diligent in my opinion. Good luck - hope you have fruitful studies and swift recall.

Everything lined up flawlessly.
