If I recall correctly they would have to rewrite the most of the game code because right now literally everything is going through the battlenet servers. Additionally they have low interest because of all the benefits that bnet gives them (e.g. monitoring and evaluation every single game of sc2 ever played is extremly valuable). Of course there are more, undisclosed, reasons that they won't tell to the public. | ||

So - really - they can do all kind of analysis, data crunching blablabla on every progame in existence as well as amateur game. | ||
