I guess hell... its about time. I dunno whats up my throughout 6 seasons of this game my zerg has gotten way worse. I started this game in beta, no Bw experience other than playing the demo in 2004-2005. I started in bronze league and since I got the beta in may I played religiously until release. I got into masters first season my top rank according to SC2Ranks.com was 700 NA. Every season however I stayed in the same spot, which was mid masters.
I finally got demoted this season to diamond. Man it crushed my soul... I'm not sure I understand zerg anymore the meta game shift from mutas to infestors made my ZvT horrible, I cannot defend hellions for the life of me.
ZvP is probably my worst match-up I cannot survive to late game and even if I do I cannot win the late game vs toss.
ZvZ I always try to get an advantage through macro but it never works I never try for micro battles with banes or roaches because I feel so vunerable and I always lose when I get greedy.
I feel like I'm Idra tbh but at a way lower level of course.
So I've decided to switch to terran! My playstyle is mostly centered around timings and overwelming the enemy... oddly enough my worst matchup is TvZ which just solidifies the fact that my zerg sucks...
Wish my luck guys, mabye I can improve as terran in this game because I never could as zerg.

May I suggest protoss? I mean if you can hit crisp timings as protoss and scout at a basic level you can do very well.

Terran is soooooo fun 
I offrace Terran, but main Protoss.
Play whatever you get least tilted as, or whatever race you can recognize your faults the easiest as. Improve faster in turn.

I was hoping to get demoted to Diamond so I could justify switching to P...but, unfortunately, I stayed masters and am still zerg

this is what sucks so much about having only one "character". i would have laddered twice as much, if i could have smurfed. would have played all 3 races much more. would have randomed. could have a cheese only smurf.
so much fun not being able to be had

Seems ok, I like to do reaper or marader openings then expand and push out on 2 bases, its winning me all of my games

this seems not the case for me to be honest. I like terran because it seems more mechanic oriented while zerg seems more decision making oriented. Also it is a lot easier to make mistakes as zerg then terran.

Depends on your play style quite much, so it is pretty retarded to go and say "a harder than b".
I started off in season 1 ( and continued to 2 ) as protoss, and man was that not difficult. Every moment It felt inflexible and stiff.
Swapped to zerg and ramped up 2 leagues 
So yeah. Whatever feels natural and correct for you, go for it.
