If I have to explain than you truly are a dumbass lol. Why would you waste your time with "Jane"? Even if she left her boyfriend on the spot right now for you, what makes her relationship "material"? She is merely eye candy, and you mainly like her cause she is hot, you dont even have to say it flat out. If she is flighty with other guys, than she will be flighty with you.

just go with girl A, if you have sex with her, better your body as you have been, and all ends well, you will be happy. Also if Jane doesn't want you, she doesn't want you, that is all and their is very little you can do to stop that.

To me it sounds like your attraction for Jane is deeper than physical attraction. Like you said in your OP, you only really noticed how attractive she was after you started learning about her (i.e. she's bi-lingual, travels, interested in other cultures). Seems you were attracted to her personality first, which is why you're having such a hard time getting over Jane. Most people get into relationships based on physical attraction, which is what girl b sounds more like to you.

To me it seems like while you're attracted to girl b physically, you're struggling to get as into the relationship you're in with her as deeply as she seems to be already because she isn't offering you what you need intellectually, which you're already getting from Jane even though you're just friends.

I get why you'd be upset to find out she has a boyfriend after her trying so hard to get you to come to her party, but you have to remember if a guy wants a girl to come to his party, is because more than likely we're attracted to her, but when a girl asks a guy to come to her party it could be because she's attracted to you (which you clearly seemed to have thought), but at the same time they could also have asked you there just because they want to celebrate with there friends (in which she clearly sees you as).

I would say, continue having fun with girl b, see if she grows on you. I can tell you're into her so getting rid of her to me seems a little silly. If it comes to a point where your attraction for girl b doesn't grow, and Jane becomes available, try to have a conversation about her and let her know how you feel, but as of right now Jane seems a little out of reach for you.

Did you also ever try asking her friend about what she feels about you? Since she first hooked you guys up maybe she could tell you some inside information. Maybe she's just more comfortable being your friend. Whatever the case good luck man and don't give up hope, your song went perfectly while reading the blog btw.

Not explicitly, but her friend clearly knew that I was interested in Jane and never tried gave me any signs not to try anything.
