most spiders i see are so small that you can't even figure out which way they are looking. It's not a valid statement if you only count the big ones

and yeah .. i just throw them out the window.

Most of the ones here are smaller to medium sized, lots of daddy-long-legs. Maybe I just like torturing things, but so far it's only towards Spiders.

That's an initial phase of psychopathy, I believe. Also, it's disturbing. Either you're a good troll, or you probably want to see a psychologist. Maybe hold off on the appointment until you start "working" on small, furry animals as opposed to insects.
Granted, I'm not a psychologist, so I probably shouldn't be trying to diagnose you, but I AM one of the (probably many) guys who were seriously creeped out by what you do.

For completeness' sake, when I see insects, I leave them be, as they are usually interesting. If they are large/wierd/potentially dangerous, I carry them outside.

EDIT: Just going to pre-empt anyone telling me that spiders are not insects, which is an obvious fact that I know. I am using the word "insect" to describe all creatures of that type of size and general body structure.

This sounds like the intro story to a 48 hours on a serial killer. Such obsession with the harming of another living thing, hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Used to do this to bugs when I was much younger with magnifying glasses. I'm sure a lot of people did. I used to microwave ants in lego blocks too.
I think in our modern age technology has evolved to become more addictive. The things that don't give us pleasure aren't used as much. Work was never meant to be fun, but doing it makes us happier in the long run.

First off the thought that you have absolutely nothing better to do at that moment than sit there and torture a spider is creepy enough as is. Secondly, make sure to blog when you start microwaving small animals, and we can try to get you help before the full fledge psychopathic killing spree on your neighborhood commences.

And I mean slow. Like, pin it with something (preferably a knitting pin) and begin to torture it until it ceases to move. This usually entails removal of limbs, dissection of the body and making it look like I am preforming acupuncture.

I was doing this to a spider I found on my ceiling in my room when my dad started questioning what I was doing, I just looked back with a slight grin on my face and said "Nothing."

Yeah.. spider's are creepy..

I'm pretty sure spiders don't feel pain or fear, its more just impulses to do things such as move, eat, and spin webs and stuff. Their brain just isn't big enough.

I hate bugs, I am mildly afraid of them for absolutely no reason haha.

Spiders creep me the fuck out, I don't flinch every time I see one like I do with bugs, but they make me all heeby jeeby haha

Camel spiders in the middle east vs australian spiders deathmatch! Make it happen!

ALso I agree with the burgeoning psychopath assumption.

umm guys, this is out of hand, either you are a really good troll or a becoming rapist/serial killer. Seriously the love of seeing pain in others is a defect that most killers have, you should probably talk to someone about it. It could be that you don't like spiders due to the sidle effect they have by walking weirdly, but please see a psychologist lol.

I'm arachnophobic, and just reading your descriptions makes me cringe. Spiders freak me the fuck out.

But... reading what you do to them...

What the fuck is wrong with you!? Holy shit, man, get help!!!

Actually I used to wear pull-ups.

I never thought I'd get this kind of reaction. To be honest it was more of a rant about how I hate spiders and not trying to brag about the fact that I feel like Dexter. Thanks for the suggestions to see a psychologist, I'll get right on that >.>.

It all stems from the fact that when I was about 9 I was visiting Florida and a MASSIVE and I mean big tarantula had found it`s way into my backpack and when I opened it up near the end of my visit a million tiny spiders started crawling out and all over me. Very traumatic. I would never, and I mean never ever do this to any other type of animal or insect. When i find other insects in my house I usually scoop them up and put them outside, hell I don't even swat flies, I just open the door and let them leave.

another strong sign that you are a serial killer is if you kill people. did you find yourself lately in such a situation?
