Hi everyone, I am a 19 years old guy, from Italy,diamond terran, hoping not to be forever stuck in this league...

I have a very bad connection so I can play only 2 hours a day( around 10 am - 12 am Eu time), otherwise I suffer a lot of disconnections issues and lag related problems.

Took a very long break ( 3 weeks ) of stop because I couldn't bear anymore tvp, and I thought that the matchup was a mess and I had a very low win ratio on that...

After that forced stop I came back and I saw it was my mindset fucking me... Tvp seems to be my best matchup right now (ah the irony of the destiny)

From tomorrow , I will post images, thoughts behind the game, what could I have improved into, until I hope I will be able to step into master league

My pros and my cons: well I don't know what are my strongest points

but I know for sure that I crumble when I'm under pressure

I do not claim Imba on any matchup, because I've really got a lot to learn. Hope you will enjoy this blog. Let's do it!

It's to bad you can't play longer. I'd suggest grinding out games for 6-7 hours but that isn't an option =[. Is there any way for you to fix your connection?

Hey a very common blog, and can be interesting I would suggest working on the formatting so that it is more focused for yourself and the reader and easier to follow. Also I don't know what your race is.

Maybe instead of lost to etc. Just put your overall win loss record (%) and then maybe add individual matchups below.

Day 0:
Win:Loss: 5-6 (45%)
PvP: 2-2 (50%)
PvT: 2-2 (50%)
PvZ: 1-2 (33%)

Maybe add overall stats at the bottom since you started your blog as well/current rank in diamond/ points.

Overall:
Win:Loss: 5-6 (45%)
PvP: 2-2 (50%)
PvT: 2-2 (50%)
PvZ: 1-2 (33%)

Add a section for telling your reader what specifically you are working on/how you are working on it. Also what you are having trouble with etc.

Also you could add a replay section. I see many people just throw all replays here, but just provide maybe 1-2 of the most interesting, and do a little analysis write up on them. Any funny images of other players fails/BM would also be great/ stories.

Keep it up you will get to masters. I wasn't trying to give pointers to be rude I just think it would help keep you focused and motivated on your goal, while also being more asthetically pleasing and entertaining for the reader to follow you

Thanks, will do! I will refine my topic tomorrow, I will add images, cute bm happening to me, and the replays if someone wish to see my ingame vision

For the other people asking me. I'm a terran

, and I can't play more than 2 hours because there in Italy there is the monopoly of Telecom, but telecom has no decent infrastructure to hold people connected to internet, at least there

And the other provider that should be competitors of Telecom Italia use their same infrastructure, so changing provider won't change a thing. also , another funny thing. there in Italy you can't charge anyone because laws are not efficient, and if you sue someone, your process should take around 20 years, if the process is really fast.

Day 1
Today I'm experiencing brain lag. I think it is related to the fact that I am sleep deprived, haven't slept for days... I hope it is related to the upcoming spring, or I'm afraid I could suffer of insomnia...

Anyway, today I had 8 games, 4 loss, and 4 wins.

Win:Loss: 4-4 (50%)
TvP: 3-0 (100%)
TvT: 1-0 (100%)
TvZ: 0-4 (0%)

Well I don't know how I feel about my ratio. I know for sure that on tvz I can do much better, but I really don't know how to play. I go for a mech play. I open always reactor hellion , except for the fourth game.. well you will see.

Let's analyse my first loss

First game:

Against SoliddeathVr : on metalopolis Replay

I open reactor hellion and I feint pressure against him, making him waste 7 larva on lings

Ok first thing: I stopped poking with my hellions.
This happened for two reasons: I don't have enough minimap awareness. In fact this guys proceed to surround my 3 hellions and defeat them with ease, while I'm trying to micro them (too late, they are already surrounded)

solution:

- should hotkey my hellions to 1, and never forget to continuously check my army

- Also I could make more than 3 hellions, to scare him, and to deny creep, that he is free to spread.

He then does a runby to get my scv.

Solution: start to wall off my expo, and get the control of xel-naga towers.

Because he has got so many hellions I try a runby, as well, with 7 hellions. I get many drones... but. Even If I tthink it was worth it, I stopped producing scvs. very bad.

He sends me an attack with the roaches he made while panicking

He is able to get 7 more workers, despise my well-positioned tank.

Well positioned? mmmm

With that attack , he gets 9 more workers, for a total 12 workers killed by him, while I'm at 17.

He then tries another runby, but he fails

and then I try to expand off that attack

Bad idea, I get greeted by many roaches :'(

he leaves one there, that I'm able to kill ,and then I send all my army to his base (now that I look at it I laugh, 4 tanks, 1 thors, and 5 hellions. I'm getting overmacroed, no chance for me to win...

I'm able to kill everything, but I miss something, when I scout him

Well, I feel like Mech is too immobile and it doesn't satisfy my taste. I would like to start trying marine tank from tomorrow hoping that I'm able to make a crisp build, where I know how to transition out of it and so on.
