Hey guys. So for a few days now I have been thinking about doing a 48 hour stream just for fun. During this stream, I will be playing various games from various consoles (N64, ps2, PC, etc...). Just checking to see if anyone would be interested in watching. I would mostly just be playing alot of games for the nostalgia factor. I might even try to play amnesia if I can get the balls to do so and will probably only play it during the day. Haha. But yea, if your interested let me know and I will decide on a day and time to start (need to get proper sleep and necessities beforehand)
Edit: I am adding a game list below.
This is a list of games I would more than likely be playing during the Streamathon:
PC Diablo Diablo II Starcraft: Brood War Starcraft II Halo PC (Campaign. Multiplayer AFTER completing Halo 2 Campaign) Halo 2 Campaign and Multiplayer (see above ^^) Devil May Cry 3 League of Legends
N64 Super Smash Bros. 64 Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon Maybe a Zelda game (More than likely, Ocarina of Time) Other random games that I can think of
Gamecube Super Smash Bros. Melee
PS2 Dragon Quest VIII Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 (NOT TENKAICHI T.T)
Dreamcast Marvel Vs. Capcom 2
Gameboy/Gameboy Advanced Pokemon Red Pokemon Crystal Pokemon Emerald
NES/SNES Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros 2 Super Mario Bros 3 Super Mario World Maybe a few other games as well

Yeah definetly, I think alot of people would be interested. That being said, you have to really want to do it yourself. 48 hours is a loooong time, and if nobody shows up, are you going to want to keep going?

Im sure after a while more and more people would watch. When I stream sc2, it takes a good 2 hours before I get to 20 viewers (which is around my peak). I mean, if I cant get 20 viewers in 12 hours that may discourage me a bit, but I may forget that im streaming and just continue to play games anyway. lol.If there are any viewers, they will be entertained.i wont ruin their viewing experience just because Im not getting alot of viewers.

don't ruin your health for 20 viewers.

48 hours? Jesus thats painful...

If you think its a fun idea, go for it. The motivation should come from yourself and not from "i wish i could get 100 viewers"!
you should also get a list of games together (mb 30-50 games) that you want to play just in case you get bored to quickly by one (I imagine after 20 hours its very stressful trying to stay awake when getting very bored by a game).
What is the penalty if you wont make it and fall asleep before the 48h end? (there should be one :D)

I agree with this.
I feel like you might see a lot of people who say, "Yea! I'd love to see it" then won't tune in. Don't bother holding your time hostage to people who *might* show up for 3 minutes, see you're playing a game they don't want to see, and leave.
If you want to do it, do it. You'll especially hit really low viewer counts really early in the morning, so as long as you're fine to play through the pain, as it were, then great
Just post about it when you actually start, instead of making a bunch "should i?" threads. Make sure people know about it when it actually goes live.

Yea 48 hours might be a little too much. But do you guys think that 24 hours and then continue until I drop would be better? Because I probably cant do 48 hours. haha. If I did, I would probably be dead for another 48 hours and then sluggish for the following 48. I will add a game list to the OP.

48 hours by yourself? wow. i might pop it up once in awhile if i remember, but i never continuously watch these marathons.

Being honest; wouldn't watch. I as the viewer don't really get anything in return for watching you at your 1st hour vs your 46th hour. You in turn just suffer some. Doesn't seem worth it.

Why do people insist on making stream marathons? Almost nobody is watching non-pro players stream anyway, and sitting in front of a pc for 48h straight can't be good for you, especially if it servers absolutely no cause.
