After all of my rage a few days ago I decided to play some more and focus on not raging when I lost. I then played against a guy who had been in bronze since season 2. I asked him if he just wanted to stay in bronze. He said no he just sucks that bad. I fourgated him since it was a pvp, and he only had a stalker and a zealot by the time it hit. I looked at his match history and he had like 15 losses and one win. His last words at the end of the match was that he was hoping he could get out of bronze this season. I have only been in bronze for like a month and I'm raging at the cheese. I just feel sorry for this guy, who just sounded sad and was beating himself up for being bad. I just hope it was some kind of odd smurf acount where he just tried to loose. On another note thanks to everybody for the support and all the offers of coaching. It's odd I asked for coaching once and everybody just ignored me. But I make one poast about raging and get tons of offers. I also started going against top 25 silver leaguers yesterday so I might get premoted soon.

Should have told him to study the replay from your point of view. A 4gate can definitely bring someone out of bronze.

When I really crush someone on the ladder I try to point out things they could've done better. Important thing is to be polite and not sound like "lololol moar probes lololo". Also, good luck with promotion!

I wouldn't suggest this. Do not offer advice unless it is asked for. Some people will find it rude no matter how helpful you are trying to be.

Seriously? you're bragging about being in diamond?

OP: don't feel bad about 4 gating the guy. If he's been stuck in bronze for this long, he's clearly not trying to improve, as just learning hotkeys, and learning one build order for each matchup and a moving will get you way the hell out of bronze.

Terrible idea. I remember once my opponent PM'ed me after I lost, giving me advice and such... MADE ME SO FUCKING ANGRY. Do not recommend.

You shouldn't need coaching. For a bronze level player, everything you need to improve can be found on Liquipedia or in the Day[9] Daily archives. I don't mean to be rude, but if you can't figure out how to execute a basic build order on your own, there's really not much that coaching is going to do to help you.

i was in bronze season 1 and 2, silver 3, and gold 4, now i am plat though, but all i have to say is just looking up videos and coaching and watching streams and analyzing build orders will only help u to an extent. to actually achieve success and prestige in the art of starcraft, u must play mercilessly and over and over developing mechanics.

I actually don't really ladder 1v1 anymore that much since i started playing playhem at least 3 times a week, but i do force myself to play ladder and when i do i play macro games, 4 gating and 2 gate proxies and cannon rushing will only get you better in moving around units not even microing, so try to play as much as you can, for really long macro games.

Distractions are also huge problem with starcraft, its best to drown yourself out with music, i find the steel series siberia V2 headset is insanely good for that
