This senior year I was clueless about my future career. It was not until 2 days before the deadline for most Music Schools that I realized that people DO get musical jobs and DO get paid and live off of them -- then with your guys' help and feedback I was able to decide to go after my dream -- passion over money, a shaky ride of future happiness and satisfaction over mundane safety and the doubt and regret of thinking "What if I tried and succeeded?" every day of work.
I did not even know that colleges had different schools/departments, and barely knew anything about the application process.

Anyways with all your help I was able to create a plan of action. Those 2 days, I skipped school, franiclly trying to research which schools would be good for me and quicly sin up fdor them and try to pactifce 3 ssongstoupload them to the schools to pass prescreening (a preliminary audition via video or audio)
I felt so gosu with my sc2 skills and apm kekekek. But as midnight drew near and i was recordingmylast 2 songs,i was devestated,. MyTraumerei song I did OK on but OK at best- formy level and how ez the song was I did very poorly. The last 2 were rushed andhorrible. You canlisten to them in my other blog about me passing UM's prescreening. I was doin the waltz and felt so horrible -- why did i not prepare earlier. Am I gonna realy waste awy thes 2 days and the next year by not being able to finish stongly? i had appied to all these schools on time and with great hapiness, ami raelly gonna just fail my prescreening fo the ideal schol i want, and feel bad about it? y cant I ffinish stongly and haveperformed well ? why did i only practice 1 hour or so average per WEEK for the lastt 12 years? Why why why?
I tried to tranfer my recording to my PC but raelized it would take time.. midnight passede and i submittd it atabuot 12:03am. i missed theprioritydeadline, which SUCKS. I would be looked at only after the priority deadlie people.(thuogh later I found out theyextended this daet a few days so i could have practiced 3 ish times more over the weekend and maybe skip 1-2 more days...
Butt after all that, on my bday, I had a last minute bday party, We watched the DRG MMA GSL finals in the morning and stayed up all nigh. It was such a greatbdayyparty. Im glad I had one, it being senior yaer and all.Beefore we watched and at the very beginning when only 1 person arrived at my hnouse, i noticed the UM email was sent... I decided not to clic it ccus if i was deffered-- or worses, REEJTED. it would kill thebday partyand make me so sad...

i was so happy when i clicked th email. I screamed fuck like 10 secs reall loud, my parents heard. kep in mind i never swear casuall in tthehouse cus of old-fashion azn parents. my older brothought it was cus of something "nerdy" like losing a really long sc2 game haha (dw, he is a gamer himself and has played RTS like sc)
I was accepted. best present ever>

With mmy new time mnagement skills, newfound goal and focus in my life, and increased maturity and motivation, i will now comence beasting life here on out.
After thes months i can nnow finally, with senior sem 1 over (grades dont count asmuch i got accepted already!) and my fnial deefeat of Procrastiation
1) stream more
2) play lots of sc2 -- especially on weekdays!
3) finally practice pianno touhou music isntead of just classical stuff!
4) finally start having "recording competition battles" in the touhou discussion thread with my new piano practice skills (i can now practice 4 hours a day)
5) relax more
6) sleep
7) post on TL mor includnig updating my Pure air guide i never got time to fix up and make some mech/air or other unorthodox terran guides!
