I will update this thread with recaps of the matches I'll watch as they're played. It WILL not be every series, since GomTV have 2 streams showing different series simultaneously . Enjoy!

First Match-up: Gamania_(Z)Sen vs IM_(Z)True

Game 1:
+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Dual Sight 1.1
Standings: Sen 0-0 True

Due to technical problems, I didn't manage to get into the game until about 3 mins into the game, so I missed the openings, but as far as I understand, Sen blocked off the fast Hatchery of True, enabling him to get his own up earlier as well as getting Zergling speed 20 seconds earlier than true, but with no other differences between the two until Sen placed down his Baneling Nest & true went for Roaches. However, thanks to some Speedlings, True managed to scout the Nest, and True started morphing a lot of Roaches.

Sen attempted to kill off some Drones at True's natural, but one of the two got killed, and no economic damage was dealt with the exception of a few Larvae. True then pushed for Sen's natural, but Sen managed to hold this, though losing some Drones. After this, Sen did a counter-attack with Slings & Blings, killing off a few units as well as 9 Drones. True then moved up to the natural of Sen, but he stopped and Went for a third instead, which got scouted.

Sen moved with a Roach/Baneling force and killed off the third. True then pushed for the opponent's third, killing off a Queen & some Roaches before moving back & getting some Hydralisks. After getting his Roach numbers up, Sen went for True's third, killing it off once again. After this, True pulled Drones & went for an all-in-ish attach, but sen Surrounded True's army with all of his Roaches, and True was forced to fall back, eventually calling the GG.

Game 2:
+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Entombed Valley[/tlpd]
Standings: Sen 1-0 True

Sen opened up with Extractor before Pool, as True went Hatch first, going for the Macro play. But Sen went for a very early Baneling Nest. True, perhaps remembering the Banelings from last game, got a Nest of his own, but Sen started morphing tons of Banelings as Zergling Speed finished, but True's Banelings morphed in the nick of Time, and managed to kill off a lot of Banes.

After failing the early attacks, Sen tried to take his natural, but True pushed for the Ramp, forcing Sen to build units instead of Drones. Sen managed to hold, but True started making tons of Roaches as the Roach Warren on the other side of the map just started morphing. True kept pushing, and reached Sen's natural before a lot of Spine Crawlers had finished, and forced Sen to call the GG, putting us at a 1-1 and a decisive third match coming up!

Game 3:
+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Bel'Shir Beach Winter
Standings: Sen 1-1 True

The openings on this map was just like last game, but the opposite, as Sen went Hatch first as True did a 14-Extractor 14-Pool opening. However, True started morphing a Baneling Nest as well as a Hatchery at his natural. As True pushed with 2 Banelings for Sen's natural, Sen was forced to sacrifice a Queen, but he held and went for a counter-attack, but this was pushed back.

After some Baneling trading, Sen started teching up, getting himself a Lair. True, perhaps anticipating this, got an Evolution Chamber & a Roach Warren, as Sen started morphing in a Spire. A little bit of passivity ensued, as neither player wanted to engage and both players got their respective thirds up, but Sen forced the cancellation of True's third. True then got a Hydralisk Den up, getting a lot of Spore Crawlers up, but as the Mutalisks came out, Sen took map control, and got himself a fourth expansion.

After forcing True to build tons of Hydras, Sen went for Baneling Speed, and went in for an attack at the 17 minute mark, rolling in, killing a lot of Drones even though a lot of Banelings died due to Fungals. Sen kept applying pressure, and ended the game. So there you have it, Sen advances to the Ro32 & True drops to Code B after these 3 matches.

(wow, + Show Spoiler +
Clide got eliminated
)
At first, I wanted to watch the matches of LosirA & TheStC, but that took so long I was afraid of missing IdrA & HuK's games, so I'll be writing of July vs jun instead

StarTale_(Z)July vs ZeNEX_(T)JJUN

Game 1:

+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Dual Sight
Standings: July 0-0 JJUN

Started watching at the 11-minute mark, as Mutalisks started coming out for July, killing a lot off SCV's, as JJUN started making Tanks to get map control, but July's Mutalisks numbers were still very scary. JJUN kept massing Marines to counter the Mutas, but unfortunately he got caught un-seiged & his 2 Tanks got killed immediately as his Marine force got cleaned up, and July took the game after this.

Game 2

+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Crossfire SE 1.1
Standings: July 1-0 JJUN

July opened up going Hatchery first, as JJUN went for a 1-1-1, doing some early marine pressure. During all this, JJUN went for a tech lab on his Starport, getting himself a Banshee, starting to build an expansion as the first Banshee came out. July eventually cleaned up the push, and he also managed to shoo the banshee away with his Queens while he got some Spore Crawlers up.

After getting 2 Banshees out, JJUN switched the Tech Lab to his Factory, getting Siege Tanks. After fending off another Banshee attack, July got his Spire up as well as starting to research Baneling Speed as a Viking tried to hunt down some Overlords, but these were cleverly positioned in the top-right corner, and the Viking missed the morphing third expansion of July. JJUN then pushed for July's natural with Banshees, Marines & Siege Tanks as the Mutalisks did some economic damage to the terran natural. The push was scary enough to force the Mutalisks to pull back, but July lost a lot of Mutas to the stutter-step Marine micro of JJUN, but his army was eventually destroyed.

Another terran detachment of Tanks & Marines got killed by Mutalisks & Speedlings, and as JJUN went for taking control of the Xel'Naga watchtower, Mutalisks flew into the main, interrupting mining & killing SCV's. July once again killed the Tanks, and killed some Marines with the help of Banelings & Mutas, and JJUN pulled back until reinforcements arrived.

JJUN once again got caught un-seiged and his army once again got decimated, as July moved on to take the game & the series 2-0.
JJUN was visibly upset after this, my condolences to him, but July was just too strong for him.

I can, but my internet isn't good enough for that. Besides, it's hard to write about two matches simultaneously

While waiting for IdrA vs Avenge, I'll write some of LosirA vs TheStC
+ Show Spoiler +
TheStC won the first game, don't know how.
Game 2 was played on Daybreak, with both players building their respective expansions before anything else, hinting at a macro-heavy game coming up. LosirA didn't built any units other than Queens, Overlords & Drones until he had about 40 supply, and getting a lot of Queens so he could have a very good Creep Spread (mmm.... Creep..), but TheStC scanned and killed of a ton of Tumors with his Hellions. Both players then traded armies, with StC losing a lot of Hellions & LosirA losing a lot of Lings.

LosirA then attacked TheStC's third, doing some economic damage before being pushed back. As TheStC moved down his ramp, his army fell victim to Baneling Bombs, losing some Marines as a result. TheStC moved towards LosirA's building fourth, and although he got sandwiched, the Banelings arrived too late, and the fourth was denied.

And now IdrA vs Avenge starts, so will stop writing about this. Turns out LosirA lost, and got knocked down to code B.

EG_(Z)IdrA vs ZeNEX_(P)Avenge

Game 1:

+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Bel'Shir Beach Winter
Standings: IdrA 0-0 Avenge

IdrA went for a Speedling expand, as Avenge did a FFE, getting a Gateway before building his first Cannon. IdrA denied any secondary scouting with his Lings. After this, he proceeded to build a third Hatchery, which Avenge scouted out.
An evolution Chamber as well as a Roach Warren got placed down shortly thereafter, as an Overlord scouted out 3 Gateways building in the protoss main as well as a Robotics Facility.

After killing off the Overlord, Avenge placed down 3 additional Gateways as well as getting a Warp prism as IdrA got +1 Armor, Roach Speed & Burrow, as The protoss army moved out. Avenge killed off IdrA's third with the help of some great Force Fields. The Warp Prism kept warping in units, and IdrA couldn't hold this off, and Avenge went up 1-0 in this series.

Game 2:

+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Daybreak
Standings: IdrA 0-1 Avenge

Both players did the same opening, with IdrA going Pool before Hatch and Avenge doing a FFE. The big difference is that Avenge managed to block the hatchery for a while thanks to a Pylon. IdrA took himself a fast third. Avenge then got himself a Stargate, and scouted the fast third after this. A Void Ray started warping in as well as a Phoenixes, as IdrA built a Evolution Chamber, and started placing down Spores after scouting the Stargate.

IdrA did a Ling runby, as the Phoenixes & Void Ray attacked the natural of IdrA, killing off a few Probes and managed to deny too much damage dealt by the Stargate thanks to his Queens & Spores. After failing this, Avenge started researching Blink as IdrA's Spire finished. Avenge Went for an All-In attack at IdrA's third, killing off a lot off units although he lost all of his Sentries after getting sandwiched. IdrA then attacked with Speedlings & Mutalisks, but the protoss army was just too strong, and IdrA was forced to GG.

It's a bad day for fans of the Gracken, as he gets knocked out of the GSL (for now), and Avenge avenged (bad pun, I know) his teammate's JJUN's demotion.

Game 3:

+ Show Spoiler +
Avenge won 2-0.

EG_(P)HuK vs (Z)Bumblebee_Prime

Game 1:

+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Entombed Valley
Standings: HuK 0-0 BumbleBee

HuK opened up with a FFE, placing down his Nexus before his Forge, as BumbleBee (who I will refer to as Bee) went Pool before Hatchery. Bee then sent a lot of lings towards HuK's natural, but he stopped just before getting in range of the Cannon. HuK then moved out with a Zealot & Stalker, checking for a third, but not finding anything, and HuK added 5 Gateways after not seeing an expansion. Bee saw this, and transitioned into a spire.

After sending out some Zealots to deny Bee's third, HuK placed down a Dark Shrine, forcing the Cancel as Mutalisks started to come out. DT's arrived to the Zerg natural, and were greeted by Overseers, and a lot of HuK's ground army got decimated. As HuK broke down the rocks to his third, Lings ran into his main, killing off a Pylon & powering down 2 Gateways.

As the Zerg army retreated, HuK took his third expansion, as a few Mutalisks flew into his main, not doing any significant damage, but they later returned and killed off the Twilight Council, as well as attempting to do some damage to his Twilight Council. After this, Bee morphed some Banelings and attempted to bust HuK's third, as well as killing off the Templar Archives. A base-trade-ish situation ensued, and HuK, after being behind basically the entire game, managed to win this with the help of his army & upgrades.

Game 2

+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Crossfire SE 1.1
Standings: HuK 1-0 Bumblebee

Bee went Extractor before Pool, as HuK got himself double Gases after his Gateways as he harassed a little bit with his Probe. Bee went on to expand after he started Speed for his Lings, with HuK doing a 3-gate Sentry expand. A few Spines started morphing for safety at the Zerg natural, as Bee started a fast Lair and eventually got a Spire, as the Sentry-Heavy protoss army neared the natural, but HuK decided to not engage after seeing the Spine Crawlers.

HuK narrowly managed to avoid a Ling runby, as 10 Mutalisks started morphing in, forcing him to pull them back as he scouted out the third of Bee. The Mutalisks started taking shots at HuK's mineral line at the natural, killing off a lot of Probes, as HuK transitioned into High Templars. Bee broke down the Rocks leading into HuK's main, and killed even more Probes.

HuK moved out once again, but Bee took down the Cybernetics Core, and HuK took down the bottom right Hatchery, eventually moving back to his main, but as he tried to move out again, Bee did another run-by, killing off Probes once again as well as destroying the Nexus at Huk's main.

HuK tried to do some damage to Bee, but Spines negated that and the Protoss army got annihilated with very few Mutalisk losses. As HuK once again tried to move out, some Baneling Bombs (In ZvP? Crazy!) killed off almost all of the HT's, and even though HuK landed a great storm on the Mutalisks, he was eventually forced to surrender, and a third game is coming up!

Game 3

+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Bel'Shir Beach Winter
Standings HuK 1-1 BumbleBee

A FFE was the starting build for HuK, as Bee placed down his second expansion at his would-be third expansion, confusing HuK until he scouted that out with his Probe. Bee then started a Roach Warren, saving Larva and building 8 Roaches, going for an all-in. Bee broke the wall-off at HuK's base, rapping up the game (If you read Naruto you'll understand) and HuK had no choice other than to GG.

A sad, sad day for EG fans, as both IdrA & HuK got eliminated, and the only foreigner to advance today was Sen.

MVP(Z)Monster vs IM_(P)Seed

Game 1:

+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Bel'Shir Beach Winter
Standings: Monster 0-0 Seed

Seed accidentally cancelled the Nexus at his natural, placing down a Forge before rebuilding his Nexus, as Monster placed down his Nexus at his would-be third not unlike bumblebee in his match against HuK. He then took his third at his natural. Monster did a small ling run-by, managing to sneak in one ling at the opponent's natural, even making Seed cancel a Cannon.

Seed attempted to do some early pressure at Monster's third, nearly killing off the Queen but that was denied by some excellent Drone micro. The players then proceeded to take it easy, with Seed getting Blink & Monster tech'ing up to a Lair & getting Roaches as well as +1 ranged attacks. Seed then proceeded to move into Monster's third, placing down proxy Pylons & eventually managed to kill off the Hatchery even though Monster had Burrow.

Seed then moved towards the natural of Monster, killing off the Macro Hatch, before pulling back. He then went for getting his Robotics Bay so he could get an Observer to snipe Creep Tumors/ detect burrowed Roaches. Seed started +1 attack after getting his Observer, and just kept building units, tech'ing up to Colossi as well, and as the two armies met in the middle, the Protoss army came out severely on top, and Monster gg'ed before +3 attack finished.

Game 2:
+ Show Spoiler +
Map: Entombed Valley
Standings: Monster 0-1 Seed

Monster went Pool before Hatch, as Seed opened up with what looked like a 3-gate into expand, but he placed down a proxy Pylon near Monster's natural, but pulled back after taking some shots from a Spine Crawler. Seed then got his Natural up, as well as a Forge and a Stargate. Monster went for a Spire of his own after his Lair finished, getting some Mutalisks. As the Spire finished, the Void Ray retreated, and Seed immediately started warping in a Twilight Council, wanting to get Blink.

As the Twilight Council finished, Seed went straight for Templar Archives, which would give him the splash he needs against Mutas with Storm, which he started researching immediately after the Archives finished. Seed then went ahead to expand a third time. As the third Nexus finished, some Mutalisks & Zerglings came up the ramp, but they were forced to pull back thanks to some great Force Fields & Storms (with the exception of the one on Seed's own units).

Seed then got a Fleet Beacon, and an engagement took place at the ramp into the natural of Seed, but that ended in seed's favor thanks to storms once again. After this, Seed started warping in a Mothership. Monster attacked Seed's fourth, and killed it off, but lost a lot of Banelings in the process, and a Dark Shrine finished after that. A transition into Ultralisks then occurred. Monster attacked the fourth once again, and once again Seed did an impressive defense thanks to storms.

Seed managed to trap some of the Zerg army in a Vortex, but the Ultralisks survived, and later engaged the protoss army near the middle, killing off a good deal, but Seed kept the upper hand. Monster went for another attack at Seed's fourth, but Seed was ready, and decimated the Zerg army once again, making Monster call the GG & fall down to Code B.

We need more serious LR thread like this. The LR thread in tournament is not really LR anymore these day.
