It is incredibly cool to see someone break down MLG Live on this level. As a guy who used to work there on a daily basis but never fully understood the intricacies of production, it’s really fascinating to see Jason break down the nuance of what is being done.

I cover a little about myself in EP0 'Introduction'. In short, I've been working in production for about 15 years. Mostly theatre, dance, circus and television. I've also been the live event production manager and/or producer for many events with budgets ranging for 30k-250k+.

I lectured on digital filmmaking for a while and still guest lecture a fair amount though these days it is more technology that I speak on rather than production.

Thanks everyone for the awesome feedback and encouragement. It's been crazy seeing this kind of response especially from people who work in eSports production. It is very much appreciated!

experience in esports, just like any other field, is tough to come by. thanks for sharing, as these sorts of production value tips are sorely needed ^_^

Really enjoyed that video, and good job MLG for the production value. Kinda makes you really appreciate the amount of work these people put in, and ingenuity in design, to promote/exhibit esports

Woah, this is really cool and a huge ego boost. I cannot tell you how awesome it is to hear that someone appreciates the amount of times I've wiped down that desk or set up those lights. Just for a little clarification, the cables that run from the ex3s to our board are SDI cables and we also use Lowell Omnis for cross keying/filling in what the Kino flos miss. :D
