Hello everyone and thank you for looking at my blog, this is the first blog I have ever written, and to be honest it feels kind of weird. I always had the notion that blogs were either for famous people, or indie artists who think they are good photographers.
This is a review of the oGs team jacket that can currently (Jan 2012) be purchased at the Nada Mall. Located here ----> http://www.nadamall.com/shop/item.php?it_id=1322650664. the link goes directly to the jacket's page.
It is possible to purchase the jacket as a foreigner, as you do not have to create an account, and you just use paypal as a means of purchasing the jacket. So buying it is a very painless process.
There are two color options for the jacket, brown and black, the only difference is the color of the inside lining.
Color Black + Show Spoiler + Brown + Show Spoiler +
Size The sizes do run a bit small, for the most part I wear a size large, and I blindly assumed that Korean sizes would run smaller than American sizes. So I ordered the XL, and even the XL needed to be a little bigger in order to fit me perfectly. The shoulders are fine, the arm length is fine, however the jacket runs a bit short on the torso. So it might look a bit small to the people around you, but it feels fine. Note that XL is the largest size they have, and for referencing purposes I am 5 feet 11 inches tall.
The Jacket The outer portion of the jacket is composed of 45% wool, 55% nylon, and the inner lining is 100% polyester. When the jacket arrived it was nicely packaged and smelt nice. I have ordered clothes online before and upon arrival, they just smelt awful, like rats decided to camp out in the box awful. However, the jacket smells fine so you can wear it right away. As for the qualify of the jacket, I have only had the jacket for about a week, so I can't comment on how well it wears over time, but I can say that initially the jacket is a well made jacket. There is no loose stitching, the zipper works, no holes, etc. All in all the jacket is a nice jacket, the only other complaint I have aside from the torso size is that the jacket does not come with any of the sponsor patches, only the oGs logo. For you this may or may not be a good thing, some of you may want a bright red Mom's touch logo on the front, others may not. I did, a bright red Mom's touch logo, yes please, unfortunately the sponsor logos are unavailable due to contractual issues. When you purchase the jacket they give you a Korean tracking number that can be used with the USPS tracking service, if you live in America that is. From the time of purchase the jacket arrived at my house in 5 days, I have had packages take longer to get from NJ to DC, but i guess it justified the 35$ shipping cost T_T.
Conclusion I don't know what else to say other than I really like this jacket. Just be careful about buying it if you are a large or tall individual.
Not the best pic, but a pic + Show Spoiler +
edited pic to remove an individual who did not wish to be in the pic
*NOTE-THEY DO NOT OFFER RETURNS FOR FOREIGN BUYERS!*

Nice to see the pic of you actually wearing it. I'd laugh so hard if someone told me they'd walk down the street boasting Mom's Touch Chicken.

Shorts and a heavy jacket..you sir are a man after my own heart.
Sweet jacket too

Pretty good review, thanks for including a pic, it really gives a great frame of reference on how it fits when we know it's size + your height. I'm not a huge fan of the color of the jacket, I liked the old white jackets, but I think I will stick with my EG hoodies over this one ;D

that jacket....must buy! you said that it doesn't come with sponsors logo, it's the same for the Teamliquid patch?
|
I think you need a TL hat to complete that outfit. lol

It's the lighting, but the girl looks like she is Photoshopped in the picture.

Welcome to Korean sizes. They will always run a little short even if its an XL and yes its always advisable to go 1 size up if you wear an American small or medium.
There will always be a problem with the L, XLs and hopefully XXL in some cases even when your tall.

i did order a size up, but i guess either im a lot larger than the average korean XL or its a tighter fitting jacket

no logos at all other than the oGs logo, which means no TL logo either

jaaaaaaaaaaa about that hahahaha the person that was originally in that spot wanted to be edited out, so i thought the best thing to do was place someone else over him, and she just happened to fit the best over him, as you can see i dont have the best editing skills so it looks a little off

What I meant to say is when it comes to large, XL and XXL I know people who go two sizes up and still it isn't a proper fit because their tops never run as long as ours.
They be small people!

Hmm I'm really interested in this jacket...I'm worried that the XL won't fit me though.
I'm 6' right on and normally wear XL or L North American sizes...does anyone have some additional insight if that jacket will work?
