I Started playing RuneScape again, not because I like it, but because i have nothing else to do. I was wondering if anyone new good ways to power level magic, cooking, and prayer? I'm lever 37 and have a magic level of 40. To be clear (before all the haters start there hatein') this is not what i would call a great game, but i use it to pass the time, because it is simple and mind numbing.

Just buy bones and bury them. If you're a member go buy bigger better bones. (for prayer ofc)
Cooking is the similar, buy a tonne of fish, find a bank with a really close stove or w/e (i think it was lumbridge) and cook to your heart's content.
Magic would be High alchemy w/ fletching bows.

Oh c'mon! I loved runescape and gladly paid the $5 a month (is it still that?) I had so much fun with all the new towns and especially Castle Wars!

yeah it's still 5, but i don't like it enough to do that. I like it as a good f2p browser, you know? NOt saying it's a bad game, just not something i would pay monthly for.

To power level magic in f2p, wear full iron and anything else that lowers your magic stat, find a caged npc (such as zamorak monk in Varrock castle), and spam debuff spells on it. To power level cooking, buy raw food. To power level prayer, either buy big bones, or go to the chaos alter in the wilderness and mass bury bones. Can't believe I still remember this shit after not playing for almost a decade lol.

Man. I used to play the shit out of that game. I remember sneaking to play it in middle school, and playing any time I could get to a computer. I've always thought about just trying it out again. Maybe one day...It's just so hard when I have Brood War, Skyrim, New Vegas and the such all on my computer ready to play.

man brings back 7th grade lol i still feel nostalgic about runescape, i tried getting back into it when the original wilderness was back and when free trading was aloud. Still couldn't get hooked but still remember the good old days.

Best way would be to mass teleport, I think varrock is the best you can use in f2p.
I played for 5 years consistently and i'm a 138... don't hate.

aaah, runescape. I think i have 286 days in total playtime.
But yeah, easyest way to train cooking is to simply make your own fire in the grand exchange, then cook fish. Or simply fishing your own fish and then cooking it. (barbarian village fly fishing).
Also Chairman Rays magic+prayer training methods are quite valid, since you are f2p.

Was a great game except!

-The community of scammers ruined it
-Jagex ruined it
-Bots ruined it (actually bots made it awesome if you were the one doing it)
-It's become dated even with its graphics enhancements

If you really want to play, then play p2p.
You make some much more money there, I made 5mill in 2 months. Go ogre caves to safespot blue dragons and attack em with magic( blues are vulnerable to magic). Should be possible in low-level.
