It was Christmas Eve and I woke up at 4 after a night of watching Starcraft2. I haven't had time to play with full time Classes going on, but I still watch it as much as I can. I wake up to a message on skype from a friend.
"Highwinds! Was it you on Funday Monday this week?" I was surprised, for I have not played Starcraft in months. I decide to look at the Funday Monday this week and to my shock it was myself! From months ago. I was playing against Day9's RL friend Tristan. I was excited to see my hero Day9 cast a game by me. I was never amazing at the game, but to my RL friends I was a beast, unbeatable, and a Macro Machine.
Here I am happy as can be.... then... Day9 said something which would ruin my Christmas. Day9 made fun of me... My Hero Day9 SEAN HIMSELF..... Made fun of my play from months ago. My Christmas present was to have my replay shown to thousands of people by Day9 only for him to call my play awful and bring back a hurtful period in my Sc2 life when I was a venting little zergy who hated protoss. He showed my mistakes over and over and over to thousands...
My Holiday was ruined thanks to you Day9. You publicly humiliated me on Funday Monday to everyone I know who is into Starcraft. I hope the rest of you enjoy this season more than I. My worst Christmas present ever comes in 2011... When my hero publicly calls me awful.

Bro i sent in a replay of myself being horribly smacked down by catz playing protoss. and even though it's not his race, it was by far my worst matchup at the time, and he 4 gate all in'd and i got just horribly wrecked, was sad.
I was Green from the constant queen Funday Monday, Sean said he loved me and my heart stopped haha, so I can imagine the strength of the emotion your facing!

I mean...2500+ minerals at 15 mins when he still was 50+ food short of maxing. He didn't say OP sucked on whole as a player, just that his macro was bad, which it was. It's nothing to be ashamed with, most people have bad macro, me included, and the way he makes fun of it is often funny (the infestor cuddling xD).
Plus, the majority of the game Day9 was making fun of his friend Tristan, don't see what there is to complain about. After all, I'm pretty sure the OP itself is tongue in cheek.

Seriously? I would love to have day9 make fun of me. Would be hilarious! Taking yourself too seriously man. Not to mention he made way more fun of his friend tristan.
You are taking this way to seriously to the point where its actually hilarious. How could anyone with 3 hatches and 1.5k minerals say they were doing good? And based on your post, you only seem hurt simply because of how your peers viewed you before and after (Which, if they called you a macro machine isn't saying much).

oh come on man. Only a few people here are masters, most are below. It's kinda normal to not play Day [9] pro style. And he has to focus on errors to make it fine.

I find this highly entertaining! You gotta take it in stride, you may be the best player in your group of friends but it doesn't mean your play isn't awful. Also may have taken it a tad too far with the title
Yeah he made way more fun of Tristan and you have to admit at the time he said your macro was awful it was. Besides, this was from months ago. I'm sure you've improved by then. Chin up man, it's not that bad.
lol this is kinda entertaining all the same. If all of my game ended in the strangest 40 supply vs 40 supply army composition fights I can not say I would be too horribly disappointed though.

Dude, I was in one of the subscriber monobattles in the "other" team. Went mass burrowed roaches and he still outplayed us, and I'm so proud he did. Get over it, dude. Being humilliated by Day[9] is pretty much instafame. Take Uniden as example.

Anyway, whether the poor bloke is serious or not… it was a Funday Monday. If you have ever laughed at anybody else who has been featured on the Funday Monday, you have no place to complain about what Day said about your play (whether good or bad). If you can't take it, don't dish it out.

That's what I think the OP's intentions are as well. However, if his positivity daily is any indication, Day[9] will probably not make an appearance in this thread. He did say that he avoids threads if there's likely to be any negativity directed his way, and a thread title like this is not exactly positive.

the way i see it is day9 barely has the qualifications to shittalk more than others. I have seen countless posts talking about how day9 is worse than his brother at the game etc then you also see posts bashing tasteless about his lack of knowledge of the game. Putting two and two together you realize fday9 is an overhyped celeb to the masses and most of his nitpicking can be done by anyone that spent a little bit of time preparing for a show.
What im trying to get at is Don't take day9s crap seriously as anyone can be a negative nancy bitching about someone elses play. The people that watch his show and take his advice about what good play is probably isnt worth taking notice of either way and the few that watch it for entertainment will realize hes overly harsh.
