So earlier this week I posted a blog entry asking about the attractions and lifestyle in korea cause I am planning a trip there next week. So I did some research and found this thread:

So I'm interested to visit one, just for the experience if you will, not really interested in those with girls who pretend to like you for cash, I wanna go to the ones with real girls 
As a foreigner, how does one identify between the different types? I know it's hard not being able to speak korean, but I want to give it a go, since ill be there anyway, it's pretty unique to me! Anybody is Seoul next week shoot me a PM, maybe we can party together!

Booking clubs are usually called "나이트" "Nightuh". Normal clubs cost 10000-20000 Won. Booking clubs cost 50000 (bare minimum) and skys the limit. You should however spend at least 150000 Won to have a decent spot, get sufficient attention from waiters and get better looking girls.
Search for Rekrul's posts for the detail on what goes on in the booking clubs. But basically, I think you'd be wasting your money if you didn't speak much Korean. If you are really desperate to try it out, maybe try the booking clubs in Itaewon, the foreigner district in Seoul, as there are more likely to be English speaking Korean girls (or at least more Korean girls looking for foreigners).

One day I will go to one of these. Seems like they are expensive hobbies though and I'm not so sure how they will feel about brown people

Whoops I used my alt to reply by accident, I'm asian I guess decent looking not the fat nerdy kind, I know it's an experience you can't really get else where don't really mind spedning on one night, it's a holiday after all

not to be a debbie downer but if you're Asian but not Korean it may be hard to get a girl :\ go with ALOT of cash is all i can say

If you're anywhere in asia, yeah. If you're tall then you're also good. (and tall by asian standards, so anything >6 is really good)

yeah..... if you can't speak any Korean you need to (a) be white and know how to abuse it (b) be very good looking or (c) "have sick game". Even with cash it will probably just be an expensive exercise in rejection.
