Yeah, I'd like to play more again... Me and Future played about 8 months ago and I beat him 3-1. I do miss it.
I gave up because it kept crashing because I have Windows 7 and I can't be bothered to kill explorer / do whatever fix people do nowadays.
I sorta feel like my mechanics are actually better than they used to be... but I really don't know haha.

What do your parents think about you spending all your free-time on the computer, and eventually making a career, at least for a while, out of it?

When you going to Korea? Yes, but I don't like reddit much.
I'd like to go summer 2012, but it's most likely not gonna happen til I'm done with high school. I am definitely planning on spending some time there in summer 2013, but I wouldn't like to stay there long term - I'll probably go for 1-2 months. After that, we'll see what the international scene is like.

What strategy would you use if you wanted to ask Kerrigan out? Here's the catch, currently she's involved in a non-exclusive relationship with Jim Raynor, he wants to push it a little further but she's not looking for anything serious. You also don't want anything serious, but would be open for a relationship if you thought thing were doing good enough.
+ Show Spoiler + you cant be a noob if you wanna hit that sexy bug so good luck pushing that semi pro playa' card!

How do you manage balancing time vs Starcraft/school?

Pokebunny, you remind me of myself when I was 15-16 however with WC3. I'm 24 now and when I was that age WC3 was in its prime.
My schedule was basically, play wc3 until 3am, sleep for 4 hours, get up for school, sleep through a lot of school, come home nap til like 7pm-8pm then do it all over again.
Whats your gamer schedule like? Does HS grades come before gaming for you?

Okay first of all, all you need to do is right click on desktop, open screen resolution, then click on the game until it doesnt glitch, it is the method i use and should work. Now, if you dont quite make it as a pro gamer, what other career options are you interested in?

Whats your gamer schedule like? Does HS grades come before gaming for you? Mentioned a bit in the last question. I practice like 2-4hrs a day on weekdays.. probably 20-25h max a week total. Sleep around midnight. Some days/weeks I get to practice more, but not that often. I wouldn't say HS grades entirely come before gaming, but when it's important they do have a priority. I try to be as efficient with school time as possible though.

I'm not really sure. I'd really like to do something related to eSports, whether it be business-related, managing, casting maybe.. I love eSports and the community (obviously especially Starcraft) so whatever I do in college I'd like it to apply to eSports in some way.

I'm going to be stupid and give advice for a sec:
Remember that community college shouldn't be laughed at. Very cheap and most 4 year colleges will accept an associates degree and basically set you up for doing a major with almost no general education credits.
If you don't know what you want to goto college for, getting an associates from a community college is a GREAT idea. Too many people spending money that they are not going to make back when you don't know what you really want to do with your life.
Anyway good luck. I hope to meet you again, it was fun last time.

SeleCT has been my model for Terran play for as long as I can remember, and he's a chill guy. I don't really watch GSL much / I'm not really a big fan of Korean players, but I do like fOrGG (I liked him in SC1 too).
My biggest rival hmm... vileHawk is one, I never seem to beat him on ladder, and he knocked me out at Dallas. vileIllusion, because he's younger than me and probably better than me at this point, though we're close. Used to be dde, but now that we're teammates it's toned down a bit. I've had a couple interesting sc2 encounters. Last year (when I was a sophomore) a senior I didn't know came up to me in the library and was like "hey I'll pay you $500 to coach me in SC2" (kinda troll/obnoxious like). I just laughed xD
Pressure who used to be TL staff used to go to my school, he graduated in June. When I was a freshman he approached me in the library when I was wearing a SKT T1 shirt and asked where I got it.
Last week some kid (younger than me... probably freshman) came up to me and said "hey aren't you really good at SC2?" and I'm like "yeah" and then he said "oh cool. I told my friend you go to this school and he thought that was really awesome" or something like that. It's always cool ^^

I go to a very high-achieving high school with like 99% of people going to a 4-year college right after HS, so I kinda feel like it would be a waste of time to go to a prestigious/difficult HS (college admissions officers in the northeast at least recognize it right away) if I were to just go to community college.

Protoss deathball with good control is really making a reemergence as impossible to beat coupled with warp prism harass + reinforcement during major battles. It's a really tough matchup, and I don't think mech is a good way to play.
I still play fairly standard and get by on just having better mechanics, but I really don't know how to beat a protoss that is better than me past 15 min.

Honestly, I don't think keyboard to keyboard is all that much different - the switch types and key layout is what you're more interested in. I'm going to jump in just in case this info helps (I've studied a lot about keyboards and own two filco's with cherry MX Browns).
The easiest way to get a FILCO is wait for them to be in stock on amazon (a lot of searching etc).
You can get Cherry mechanicals in the US from DasKeyboard or the Leopolds from EliteKeyboards.
You can find everything you every wanted to know about mechanical keyboards on GeekHack
For example: The Mechanical Keyboard Guide The Cherry MX Switch Wiki page

At what stage in your development as a player do you think it's important to focus on things other than massgaming (watching VOD's, streams, etc) for improvement? I have very limited practice time and want to make effecient use of it, and I don't know weather I'm at that stage yet.
Also, why did you chose terran over protoss or zerg and why? Do you ever wish you'd tried out the other races instead?

For other things I mostly discuss with people / yell at teammates with questions. I dunno, I got where I am 99% through just gameplay and talking with players.
I chose Terran because I played it in BW, really.. I played random for 2 weeks in beta and was best at Terran. I think I would enjoy both of the other races more than Terran, but I don't really have the time to get good at them.

Yeah, I'd like to play more again... Me and Future played about 8 months ago and I beat him 3-1. I do miss it. I gave up because it kept crashing because I have Windows 7 and I can't be bothered to kill explorer / do whatever fix people do nowadays. I sorta feel like my mechanics are actually better than they used to be... but I really don't know haha.
lol go to options video then disable color cycling the end.

If you remember how/why did you discover starcraft broodwar what made you pick up the game?

Oh and I read earlier about how your school sends most of its kids to top universities, is it some kind of special admissions school? Does it have a type (like stuyvesant is math sciencey) and do you take harder classes that you probably wouldn't take at a normal school?

how did you orginally discover team liquid. I wrote a blog about when I first started playing - click on my blog and the entry My StarCraft History.
I discovered TL when I was 12, during TSL1. My dad was part of a multigaming guild, and they had a SC tournament for fun. (The best guys were probably around C- level). One of the veterans who had been a longtime SC fan showed us TSL and taught us a lot about the game, and we would all watch together on teamspeak. Actually, the first TL page I saw was that guy (who ran the tournament) linking us a TSL post as an example of what he wished our forum's spoilers looked like.
After the tournament, I was the only one who continued to play seriously / starting on iccup etc.

It's not really specialized in anything, admission is through a separate test you take in 6th grade. We are the rival of stuyvesant, on par with them in academics. And yes, our classes are overall def harder. (The school is Hunter College HS).

Pick two TLers you think would be best friends if they met in person (who haven't already) and two who would be worst enemies (who aren't already).

But yes, junior year is very important Best of luck! Yea, I know they can look at S1 senior grades, but I was under the impression that most schools only get sent through junior year, and they'll rarely ask for senior grades?
Also, quarter grades are pretty meaningless I thought? They're basically just progress reports. Q1 senior I guess they can occasionally matter though.
I hate this year ;_;

Hm, when I was applying early I remember being told to work hard first quarter because they'd see it. Pretty sure the transcript they get has everything on it up to most recent? Ah, not sure anymore, was a long time ago T_T Either way I'm sure you'll be fine Btw how was girls volleyball this season? Haven't kept up with them, but from what I last saw they weren't doing as well ;;

Doubt I'll apply early, also, as I have no real preference as to where I want to go. Aren't early decision apps binding? As in, you have to go if you get in? I seem to remember hearing that, but I haven't started college process yet so w/e.

I went into my last day of high school not knowing if I was going to pass. My grades were terrible. All I did was play wc3. That was June 2005. It's December 2011 and yesterday I just finished my last class for my Masters degree at a University with all the same accreditation's as other top business schools around the country. The only thing high school is good for is to get you into a good school right off the bat. Also, plus the general knowledge.
You can go to any community college, ace it for 2 years, then probably transfer into most top schools in that area without a problem. High school grades are so overrated.

For some reason Naama vs MaNa at DH 2010 really stuck out to me as the first really good match I watched, but that was a long time ago. Kaki vs Stephano at IPL3 was pretty fantastic too. I don't know ;p

Ah, okay. T_T I remember people still knew how basketball/volleyball did even if they didn't go to the games so I thought it'd be worth asking. There's also early action :p Yea, you still have time so don't start stressing like those other crazy hunterites yet lolol
