Unfortunately for him, he revealed a lot of strategies to win his GSLs and his peers caught up to him and figured them out. Now it's up to players with great strategies and great execution as well. I think it's hard for Nestea to compete with young guys like Leenock or DRG on a mechanical level. So although he's still great strategically, SC2 progamers are becoming good enough that you need to be excellent mechanically as well. MVP knows how to counter Nestea's strategies. MMA can out-multitask him. Leenock can outmicro him. etc etc. The final thing is motivation. After you've won 3 GSLs, you can get complacent. When your competition is young kids who practice hardcore with the immense desire to win a championship and make a name for themselves, it's hard to beat them all. Especially when you have too much footage out there to be analyzed. | ||
