One day, a long time ago, I lurked the SC2 strategy forum and discovered the "Three Barrel Bust" or whatever. It looked like pure awesomeness. For you who don't know, it's kind of a "8 roach rush+speedlings after expo" if that makes any sense. I've found out that it works beautifully sometimes, mostly it just fails and dies to any opening, at least when I try to do it.
Helion openers scout the roaches before they get to his base, he makes tanks+marauders.
Marine aggro oppeners usually also scout the roaches (or roach warren) either on way to his base or when they spawn, he makes 1-2 bunkers.
FE openers, this isn't a problem because it's vs terran and they just lift their expo.
I'm getting really desperate lately, I lose a lot more than I usually do and it's really getting to me losing to Platinum T's (I'm diamond) that I normally would have just owned.
Do you think I lose because of bad playstyle/macro fails/bad decisions/etc, or is it because of the build, am I executing it wrongly/bad transition/shitty build/etc.
I would love some feedback on this as it is depressing, so to speak, to lose vs bad(?) terrans that I normally would own so hard. I can sense my ladder anxiety returning if I don't do something about this soon...

The build order suggestion I have. I know that this has probably been attemptet before and is not viable aganst most strats. Still, it's a build I made myself, no ripping off anyone, atleast I think so...
It is a build based on really fast upgrades, at least up to 2/2. I'm pretty sure you could do this with either roaches or lings, but upgrades may be a little bit slower if you go roach.

Basic build order
9/10 Overlord
14/18 Gas (Pull 2 drones after you reach 100 gas)
15/18 Pool
16/18 Overlord
Lings, ling speed and queen when pool finishes, putting you at 20/26
20/26 Expansion
When your single drone has mined you about 80 gas, put 2 drones on gas again and start evo chamber. Start melee/ranged upgrade.
Keep 3 workers on gas.
Start another evo when you get close to 150 gas, when you reach 150 pull 2 drones off again, start armor upgrade.
When properly saturated on 2base, build additional gas and saturate them and start lair.
When lair finishes, place down a tech building of you choice and start 2/2.
(I can't post exact supply counts after expo, after you expo you do whatever the situation needs you to do. But this is the basic outline of the build.

I actually got inspired to try this out in 4v4s when going mass zerglings. I don't have many replays of me doing this, but I will upload more as I get to test it more.
When I do this build I don't go roaches, I instead opt for ling/bling/muta because roaches cost gas, and building units that cost gas = slower upgrades.

Feedback to this and previous post would be awesome
