My epic Return

Hello inter-webs!! This is my, not so Epic return to the tl site. I wanted to ask if everyone had a great Thanksgiving, because I know I did! Until my girlfriend called me crying about how her Cat got ran over and she kind of killed the mood :/ So since I've been gone nothing much has happened in my life. I have been play statecraft brood war much less because my friend fluffy's new computer can run sc2 on extreme graphics, but for some reason can't handle brood wars. well then because he gone and did that our good friend Joreim, or as I call him for I often misspell his name, Santa! Well anyway he uninstalled brood war from his computer to play more sc2 with fluffy. and so I am stuck playing mine craft and getting blow up by creepers! Well back to the point, now that I've filled you in on what you missed, tell me how your Thanksgiving went. What did you eat? who's house did you go to? what traditions did you follow? etc. etc. etc.

We don't celebrate thanksgiving here ( the Netherlands ), shame though since I'm a huge fan of chicken, or well meat in particular. But then again, why would I need an excuse to make stuffed turkey ~~ Maybe I should go make myself some tonight.

kinda the same.
Thanksgiving isn't really something we celebrate over here, I think in whole Europe;O

My thanksgiving was a test of will as always. If you met my family, or perhaps have a similar family you'd understand. For me thanksgiving is like being the only sane dude in the loony bin. I endured conversations about the state of Americas railways transportation system, which sounds interesting I know, but actually its quite strange how all the males in my family focus on this as a niche interest. They talk about trains similar to how most dudes talk about football, or politics. Its THAT important.

Apart from that I also endured a spontaneous chorus rendition of "I've been working on the railroad". Ironic I know, but the entire house broke into song out of nowhere. Which was aweinspiringly amazing.

All that said it's nice to remember your family no matter how fucking strange and crazy they all are. My grandpas getting old and with all my other grandparents dead, It's nice to be able to spend time with him while I can. Dinner was good, I ate lots of green bean casserole, the end.
