Just playing around with the idea of using oil paint like water color, alizarin crimson is the base color and I mix a little bit of it in a lot of paint thinner and using that as the main medium, so it behaves like water color for all purposes and gives it a bit of surreal monochrome painting feel.

Awesome! I've been taking my first painting class ever this semester and I can really appreciate how difficult it can be to make full use of the shades. I find myself often quite timid with paint, but I'm getting over it!

Wow i had no idea you could manipulate the oil paint like that, simply amazing. Do you use any paint thinner you have or is there something made specifically for this purpose?

ya, pretty weird method, using oil like water color, i mostly used regular paint thinner (i'm not aware this is an actual method, just something i tried), of course the way water sips into paper is different from the way oil/paint thinner sips in, so the spreading and behavior is a bit different.

Not exactly my style and personally I like your drawings better but obviously you had a lot of fun doing it and trying to work with different materials. So keep it up, keep doing what you love and try to extend those boundaries to the extreme
