In general, I recommend going through insurance. If you have a clean record, your rates may not go up at all. It also protects you from future liability. Let's say in 1 year, the other guy starts complaining about neck problems and decides to sue you for medical expenses. If it was reported to the insurance company, they will handle the ensuing legal issues and/or pay a settlement. | ||

I didnt fix the car and I got rid of it haha. Also at the post above, yeah probably, but really in this case it's probably best to call insurance regardless. | ||

I thought if someone readends you then they are at fault due to not maintaining a proper/safe distance from the car in front. Id imagine it is situational though ![]() | ||
