Hey everyone, going to start something new that I haven't noticed anyone doing (yet). As a frequent ladderer/stalker of players I have acquired a pretty large knowledge of who's who on the NA server. If you're good but not quite notable yet, I probably might know who you are. This comes from watching lots of streams/looking at different ladder divisions. Anyway, to cut to the chase I want to take a look at this MLG's open bracket. Excluding the Koreans, here are some strong players that aren't well known that can potentially make it to the championship bracket. . .

(IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER)

VPChance - now VileChance
kiwiCaliber
sung123 - kiwiBinski
ajtls
KiwiHeavOnEarth
sSoda
Pandain
tuxedomask
ryanrushia
EVOBoyo
AlexCMoi
kiwiGotC
vileHasHe (i miss your name showing up all the time..make a strong showing!)
phantaxx
gensulitor
scproxima
Cheticus
stiknork (love u stik~)
InvMoi
inkarnate19 (assuming this is tQinkarnate)
NrGFuzzy

All are notable in my eyes for one thing or another, assuming they all show up they do have the talent to take games/series off of foreign pros/koreans. There may be more people that I would be able to pick out had the list showed their bnet id, but these are the only ones that I know

Hope to see everyone on this list have fun there..I was going to go to this providence with some college buddies but I decided to go to a dubstep concert in NYC instead.

I feel like you chose all the lesser known pros and high level players, skipping the well known foreign pros. Was that what you meant to do?
How does it feel knowing you wasted another 3 seconds of your life reading this again?

I don't see any of these players making it out of open bracket, or even top 16...

I'm seriously expecting 2-3 koreans to get upset a la Polt-Goswser in the open bracket.

It will be epic.

Polt then proceeded to go on the most epic run in MLG history (Naniwa had a longer streak and won, but Polt's competition was much tougher).

It'll take a real foreign pro playing a favorable matchup (a la ToD) or another Korean to knock them out twice.

WHAT THE FUCK TUXEDOMASK?!!?! someone thinks they're funny by spoofing my name, unbeknownst to them they'll get DQed before playing a match with it!
Have you considered the MMO-Champion forum? You are just as irrational and delusional with the right portion of nostalgic populism. By the way: The old Brood War was absolutely unplayable

Yes, sorry if that wasn't clear about that.

Yes, but I consider him to be fairly well known, also I'm not quite so sure of his success. I can see him getting through on an easier bracket though (no Koreans)

my 3 favorite north american players aren't showing up....

SplashSC

FartSlime

one of my favorites who is showing up is Hooktits (ryanfarace in the mlg bracket) so that'll be good.

Wtf, I didn't know lastshadow was playing at prov. ajtls is his mlg id. GGLastShadow who's currently at the MVP house in korea. Thought he was more well known than that I guess. He can compete. Never met tuxedomask, but i see him on the list at every mlg i've gone to. Kinda want to meet that guy.

Gatored is not under the radar. Everyone knows his pvt can be beastly (lost to spades in some odd games, but everyone loses), he knocked out some code S koreans in an invite tourney.

so many players got matched up vs each other/pros in like the first 2 rounds...at least HeavOnEarth has a very strong chance to make it into championship bracket so far

I wouldn't say he has a very strong chance lol, the rounds get so ridiculously exponentially more difficult, he is by far an underdog to win two more rounds when he'll be up against Code S players soon.
