Every time he opened his mouth the entire class would groan as he would basically ask the most wierd questions, or he wouldn't ask questions he would just make random statements trying to look clever These kind of people are basically ultra-insecure and are compulsive liars/ultra passive agressive He dropped out eventually but all the lecturers knew he was a total pain in the ass. The quality of our lectures improved significantly after he left lol | ||

It is, after all, the teacher's job to answer questions. Questions tend to be asked by students because they want the professors explanation (and i do mean professor's explanation, not just the answer to the question). I remember having a guy like that in my class at high school. Constantly interrupting to try and look smart and say stupid stuff. I remember being so angry and hating the guy so much because I actually wanted to hear the teacher but there was nothing I could do. My friends in the class also couldn't stand the guy. It's kind of like being a citizen in society and seeing the police not dealing with crime and wanting to become a vigilante to solve it. Eventually my teacher stepped up and started dealing with the guy a bit better and the situation improved somewhat. Later on I ended up becoming (kind of) friends with the guy. I found outside of the classroom setting he wasn't so bad to be around although he would still be a douche a lot. The tension would be eased by me and other friends constantly making fun of him. With these kind of people they don't even care if you mock them because they love any kind of attention. So yeah, anyway, I think it's up to the teacher to do something about it in the end. | ||

The only thing I would be annoyed about is being condescending, but certainly not to the point where I would be physically aggressive. There is a difference between being enthusiastic and being a dick. He sounds condecending most likely because he likes to flaunt his knowledge, and who cares if he doesn't know..... He sounds like he needs to reflect on the way he interacts with others. The being helpful stuff is whatever though, but I hate it when people talk down and shit, or talk in a tone that makes them feel smarter or makes someone else feel stupid. | ||

Whenever I've experienced a kid like that in one of my classes interrupting the professor or something that obviously irritates half the class for some stupid or moot point, I kinda just quietly laugh from the back of the room at how awkward the situation is for them and wonder if they are completely oblivious to how they sound. I don't know why but I found it hilarious just imagining someone standing up to "that person" you occasionally get in one of your classes every now and then. I wish you were in one of my classes before lol | ||
