I had a similar thing happen to me one year ago... someone dented my front bumper while it was parked and drove off. There was no damage to the side of the car, but there was apparently a bit of damage under the bumper as well. The job cost like 1300 dollars. I reported it with a 500 dollar deductible. My insurance told me my rates wouldn't go up since it was parked when the damage occurred and I don't have any type of a history of this happening. If you are going for a 100% repair it's going to be at least as expensive as mine was. | ||

Yeah it was annoying to see on facebook people saying WOW YOU SHOULD HAVE CHASED HIM DOWN, as if after having the back of your head ram against the headrest of your car your first reaction is LETS CHASE THAT FUCKER when we don't even know if the car is in a condition to be accelerating or for that matter, even maintaining 50 mph. There was no chance of chasing anyone. | ||
