EPTThe matches work like this: I have 5 pictures of each player, some more flattering than others, and one is chosen randomly for the match. Both pictures are shown to the judge and the one deemed better wins. The group stages are based off MSL/GSL format. Without further adieu, here are the results!

Group A The very first match, Bisu vs Day9. And Day9 wins. I was like “Omg does my sister biased against Asians or something? Did my entire project just get screwed over? Luckily he did manage to make it out of the group so life was fine.
Also in the prediction polls, exactly one person out of 98 called Hasuobs to make it out of the group 2-0. I guess thats largely my fault for not having included pictures at the time. A lot of people might not have really known what Hasuobs looks like (also Day9 bias played a part I’m sure).Group B
Boxer. This was a pretty brutal group but I really didn’t expect Boxer to get knocked out of it 0-2. Also I was surprised by how handily Jaedong won the group. Usually my sister would think for a little bit before making a choice, but in the Jaedong ones, she just snap called it. Boxer came really close to making it out over Marineking in the losers match but he didn’t get the best picture possible I suppose. I felt like his picture against Jaedong was one of his better ones, but apparently Jaedong’s just too good at everything.
Group C
Yes, Incontrol lost 0-2 yet again. But I assure you, it was really really close. He almost managed to pull it out over Hero which I think would have been a pretty huge upset. Barely, however, Hero edged out the win and went to the winners match against Catz. Again, Catz was a huge underdog, with only 3 votes in the prediction poll for him coming out 2-0. But he did it. He’s quite the boss. Incontrol got pretty much his worst picture for his loser’s match which was pretty unfortunate. Even so, he once again came close to moving forward and getting a second shot at Hero. But Dimaga pulls out the win to get his match against Hero and ends up knocking him out, I think a pretty big upset!
Group D
This would have been a pretty sick group for actual Sc2 matches, but it turned out not to be all that close. I expected LzGamer to come out 2-0 but that spot went to Huk. When they went head to head it was pretty close, but outside of that, they basically just smashed through Idra and MC without much thought given to it. Idra got a bit shafted with that picture he randomed in the final match but I suppose it pretty much simulates him tilting after losing to MC. :D
