OP is very understandably upset. I know the two of you weren't officially dating, but anything more than a one-night stand is a kind of relationship in my book. In every relationship, people cue off each other's behavior, and she cued off your indiscretions when she made hers. She had to rationalize her decision somehow, even though that doesn't excuse her actions at all, and she knows what she did was wrong. Step one is to 100% talk it out with your two best friends. Everything, all feelings, expectations, misunderstandings need to be discussed and worked out so you're all on the same page. You can't let this sit, and you can't let it get between the three of you. Step two is to wait. D-Chicken, the only thing that's going to fix this is time. That's it. Every day the sting of hearing that news and feeling like you messed up will slowly lessen, and the likelihood of changes of heart and reconciliations will slowly increase. Just keep your head down, work hard, and keep your friends close. | ||
