Happy B-day and enjoy! Are you staying at Sakura hostel? that place is awesome and I lived there for 4 weeks while doing a summer Japanese course in Tokyo (I was living in Fukui at the time).

If you go to Fukuoka again, check out Canal City!
If you are in Tokyo, go to Ueno, go to Ueno Park near/at the train station, then hit the Warrior Celt right next to it for a few drinks in the evening!
Other than that, the place is huge, I don't think it will be hard to find anything of interest if you look even a little

For shopping, don't forget any of the big figure locations. Places like animate, toranoana, and the like.
