Disclaimer: I searched through the forums using "already posted", "post exists", "mods please be gentle" and "no need for op". I couldn't find anything (maybe wrong keywords? I only found 2 closed and a BW thread).
I just wanted to say that I have an important question that really cannot be asked in the General thread (seriously Jinro is a good progamer and all, but lazy, when it comes to making this thread in time). I am a mid to high level Plat player and have been into Starcraft since forever (when I got a Beta key). Actually I am Diamond, because my MMR is that of a Master already, but ladder isn't fixed yet.
The question I want to ask is: Does any post like this already exist? If so, mods please del this post. Have you ever thought about it? If this post already existed (or similar one) there would be no need for an op like this one. It could be erased from history... An intriguing idea.
Anyways, discuss!

I thought the whole point of an MMR was that it is hidden...so how do you know what yours is? And don't just extrapolate based on the ranks of people you've played because their MMR is unknown as well and estimating an unknown based on estimation of another unknown is circular and inaccurate.

Mid-plat doesn't exist, only high- and top- plat (or high plat/low diamond). The same is true for all leagues below masters. Also you forgot to mention that your game sense is amazing but you're held back by mechanics/cheese/imba.

im low/high plat. i would be low-mid masters but i keep getting cheesd by noobs and i feel like the current metagame favors races other than my own.

For those that are not understanding, Jinro is the creator of the General Discussion thread - but he frequently forgets to create them (hence the reference to lazy)!
