At the stroke of midnight, I have entered an end of one's past and a brand new age that will last for 365 days. It beings life anew, makes all the past year irrelevant and allows me to start things completely fresh. No matter how bad or how good the past year was, what's done is done and now I will take the step forward closer to my goals, career and plan I set forward for my life.
The mistakes I've made in the past, the doubts I had over my choices, and the love of my life that failed are all washed away as soon as this stroke goes for its final sound, beginning what's known as the 23rd year of my life.
Gosh, I feel so old now is what is continuously going through my mind, but it is also a sign that I have progressed that much further. I had some nice successful year with my WABC-TV News Internship, going out with a few girls, making new friends and slowly leveling up myself to prepare myself to pursue a dream of a Korean celebrity (as stated in my previous blogs). These are the things I should keep them treasured in my mind as they were the happiest moments of my 22nd year of my life and move on to conduct a greater action and accomplishments I hope to make on this new year.
Some folks may think being 23 is an extremely old and pursuing an idealistic fantasy dream such as aiming for Korean celebrity status to be a total immature state of mind, but that is one of few things currently within me that keeps me going and working nonstop to full extent. Without something to reach for, there is no desire to do anything I wish.
But as I enclose my last year as experiments and preparation for a whole another year, I want to say, despite everything I've gone thru outside, TeamLiquid.net is one of few places that kept me comfort, even in the darkest times and in the most exciting times. While I continue to fade more and more away from this site and focus myself into reality more, I still will come back whenever I feel troubled and feel the need to feel courage and comfort as there is no place like home.
So thank you TL and while that possibly may be an automated icon I got happy b-day on TL or automated messages of such on many other sites, it warms my heart that I am comforted even in a small tiny PM. I hope to enjoy another year with you and hope for the best that's to come for TL and myself!

For the record, I drop everything when I see a birthday hat icon, and send a PM right away. It's not so much that you're special (you are!), but rather that I do it for everyone I recognize.

Thanks guys! I still have 12 hours left on my time before b-day ends since it's almost noon so I should enjoy it while it lasts!
(And while I do think 23 isn't old.... there are awfully lots of young lings roaming thru TL and everywhere basically... compared to them, I am old... )

Hahaha, thank you Aeres, I really appreciate it! Made me really happy when I came home after drinking and saw that posts. Haha!

Haha, I really hope I can make it big in 1 year! Then my 23rd year will be my greatest accomplishment ever. But for now, I'm going toward the safer route of my master plan I set out (on my previous blog) and gradually change myself. But if I do make it big and I know IU well, I'll set you up OpticalShot, but that may be when she's 30 or 40, hahaha.
