Basically it's a pain in the ass b/c it's very hard to drop out of GM. p.s. You gave away too much info in your post so I found your profile :D (you're pretty red or otherwise one of a small few).

Shit's still not in GM after something like 300-400 games even though everyone who plays on the account is ranked pretty high in GM. System's just retarded, so just practice without giving a shit about GM. If you're lucky you'll get in one day.

As to your question, just keep playing a lot(and winning) and next season you might get in.

Nothing wrong with wanting to keep his anonymity ![]() Getting into GM you just have to ladder hard at the start of the season, and because of what it takes to drop out once the top 200 are placed, you're going to have a hard time to get in afterwards :<

All else equal, grinding to the highest possible mmr and trying to get a spot held for you at the beginning of the season is much better than trying to pass the number of players that still have spots available before they take them, meanwhile the players that have spots are already getting in after one game.

http://sc2ranks.com/us/443514/VTdesRow my mmr is quite good i play people like idra sheth etc but u still need to secure that top5 in masters league overall and then wait for someone to get demoted but again someone with 70-80% win ratio might be ahead of you
