EDIT: Been promoted! WOOOOOO! So happy.
Progress update: I have made great strides since I changed to the Zerg race. I was no longer enjoying Terran due to TvT being too long, and it was just annoying losing games that last 45 minutes. Also, I dislike the TvZ matchup. As Z, I enjoy all the matchups, and find the battles to be a lot more fun, and unit compositions are cool. I am now playing Silvers, Golds and even some Platinum, so I feel promotion is imminent. Getting promoted to silver would be amazing, and from there, I will practice even harder.
A way I am going to try to improve and learn, and to get a better grasp of the game overall, is that I've created a "Losses" folder, and after a match, if I lose it, I'll save it to that folder. After the ladder session, I will watch all these replays until I can find out what I did wrong, and how to not lose to it next time. For example, if a spire finishes at X, I should scout around X seconds before that to try and find it, so I can prepare.
Goals:
- Get to Silver League
- High Masters in 1 year
- Win a GSL (you might think, woah, cool it, but it's the dream, and what's the point of dreaming if you're not going to dream big)
I might stream if you want me to, so you can tell me stuff in the chat and the like. Comment saying "Yes, I'd like you to stream" if you'd want me to, and I'll start doing it.
This is my schedule, I hope to keep to it.
Weekday:
16:00: Come home from school, eat, chill, do homework 17:15: Ladder 21:00: Shower 21:30: Ladder 22:30: Review replays
Weekend
10:00: Wake Up, Shower, Eat 11:30: Read TL 12:00: Ladder 16:00: Watch videos, chill 16:45: Ladder 21:00: Relax
Add Cloudfury.533 if you want to play me or help me in any way. I'm EU. I'm from the UK, so it's preferable if you can speak reasonable English.

Good luck on your journey. I am a zerg as well. I am in silver, but honestly I don't ladder much and can/have taken games off of practice partners that are platinum and diamond. If you ever want someone to work with, friend me and hit me up or PM me on TL here. I am down, I just don't get a ton of time to play.
I hope your journey is a fruitful one, but always remember that the goal is not always the point of the journey, most of the time the journey itself is.

I hope you have time to do your homework...

Very poetic. If you could add me, Cloudfury.533, or tell me your details, it would be fun to play you.
Edit: I just edited homework in and then seen your reply. :p I am in year 10, so I'll start getting more homework, but for now, it's reasonable.

I don't think it is a good idea to play that much, especially if you are still in bronze league. If you don't do other things you will quickly get frustrated and bored

With this kind of dedication you will become a problogger in a year

Do keep in mind that while playing a lot is generally good, you also want to practice the right way. Pros who practice 8-12 hours a day already have very good game sense, mechanics and general knowledge of the game, they can just mass games for practice. For players of your level it would be much more effective to spend the lion's share of your game time on studying the pros by watching and analyzing (what does he do at what time and why) replays and maybe streams. Pick ONE solid build for each match up and practice those thoroughly on ladder until you have them down 100%. Do that and you should improve very quickly.
