So college started again since 2 weeks ago. Haven't touched sc2 at all since then >.> And I'm not feeling the need to play sc2 atm However with all the free time between classes I was able to play a lot of sc2 manager and it's fun! :D
Anyways yesterday I felt like the luckiest guy on earth.
In Holland the busses and trains are always so crowded. You could only move a few inches in the bus. Students need more busses but the damn company that runs them is actually decreasing the busses that travels to the schools. It's already so hectic.
Yesterday I tried to sit in front since I had a spot. Then I saw this grandma wanted to get in but since it was so crowded she couldn't get in and even if she were. She would be crushed >.> unless she sat down. So as the gentleman as I was raised by my parents I offered her my seat. But since there weren't any spot I just took the next bus which somehow was not crowded at all.
So I arrive at school and study for few hours with my fellow classmates. I study Computer Science so I always bring my computer with me (Macbook Pro). After the classes I FUCKING FORGET TO BRING MY LAPTOP WITH ME!!! It had cost me 2k euros ($2.8k).
The shocking part is that my best friend also goes to the same college as I do this year (I'm a senior and he's a sophomore?) and he picked me up to go get something to eat and drink.
We sat there talking with others and eating/drinking for like 2hours before I realize I had fucking forget my laptop.
I put it in the most crowded and most busy place of school (the public computers area) and the amazing part is that NO ONE picked it up or anything. It just sat there for 2 hours.
When I was relieved and took my bag the people sitting there asked me. Is that yours? I said yes but they didn't believe me. So I had to prove it. I said a few buttons are broken so when you press it they won't work when you type and I logged in to show that it was me (profile picture).
They then let me go.
I was shocked that no one took it but also so fucking relieved that I didn't lose it :D:D:D:D
Then I went home after I grabbed my bag and then I saw that the bus was crowded again and another lady wanting to get some foothold so I offered my seat again. Thinking that Karma might pay me back
The train leaves to my home every xx:50 and xx:20 and the time was 13:49 (1:49pm) and I would usually miss the train.
So I was feeling chill and just walked to the platform and everyone else was running. Seemed that the train was having a delay and right when I entered walking slowly and chillmode the train closed the doors and departed :D
Felt like the entire universe was bending to my will

Sick. At the end of the day I picture your house cat cocking its head and typing 'u hack?'
I lost a bag with all off my stuff, PC, clothes, book, etc. in Hiroshima. I went to the local police box and within two hours someone returned it and they gave me a call. As an American I had to be told that the police would actually help, and I held no hope for my PC at all. From your surprise, I gather that this type of thing isn't the norm in Holland either. <3 Japan!

It's the same for me with the bus, they are always so very crowded! But I'm lucky, I live in a suburb and the bus going to the uni and to the uni library stops near my home, when nobody gets in yet :x so I always have a seat. Getting out is always a bit of trouble though, sometimes it's so full that you really need to squeeze yourself out (or the busdriver just closes the doors and drives on D: ).
Nice blog though :D, must be karma indeed :p! I must admit I regularly leave my laptop lying around in the library. At first I was hesitant, but everybody does it here really. They just put their laptops and bags on a table and then go out to get some coffee or something xD I was so surprised the first time I saw it.

Macbook pro has keyboard issues? What did you do to it.
I think your karma needs a better test, like try to leave your laptop at mcdonalds for 2 hours.

Yea normally if there are stuff on the table and the computer is logged in then people won't take it. But mine was in my bag lying on the table and people went to sit at the table where my bag is at

Yay, a feel-good story =)
I used to leave my laptop in one of the university's common lounge areas all the time, for hours on end. Well the room is cardkey-accessible (only to our department students and staff) so random people wouldn't walk in, but still, there were almost a hundred students every hour walking in/out of the room (which is attached to a computer lab) to play foosball, grab a snack, check email between classes, and so on. Laptop was never stolen. Mind you it was a dull-looking Dell Inspiron, but it was pretty loaded at the time and it costed me $1500 when I got it, so it wasn't a piece of garbage either. This - for four years - and I can only conclude that all the students in our department were good people.

Cool story bro, but if you want my advice don't sit in public transport seats. And also don't grab the handles in there to much. You never know who's sat in there before you or what they have touched (someone might have jerked-off and didn't wash his hands after, for example). That's why you should always stay up in a bus, and you'll never have to test your karma (I don't believe in that) again.

Maybe I just don't trust people that fast But I'd expect people to pick it up if it's lying around there xD

Now I have to stay up every time in the bus and I don't like standing in the bus

When people ask for your secret just say karma and walk away.
Then retire.
