Most studies actually show olympic weightlifting is one of the safest sports in the world. If you're going to miss a lift you just drop the bar in front or behind you and restart the lift. The bar cant really even fall on you because you can lie down underneath the height it rests at.

Rugby on the other hand...shit can happen. In 5 full seasons i've had a sprained ankle + wrist, separated shoulder, and almost broke my toe, and split my head open twice, but i'll be damned if i ever missed a game

Workout for 9/14/11
Snatch - 2x50,60,70 then 3 singles at 80, 85, 90 (75% of 1RM, felt easy)
CJ- 2x50,70,90 then 2 singles at 102.5 (bad) and 2 singles at 110(good)
diet - 4 eggs, 1/3 lb ground beef + 3 eggs, protein shake so far. probably pulled pork for dinner.

Still pretty sore from going heavy on monday + taking a shoulder to the quads in rugby practice yesterday, was pretty much no energy after my last CJ. Always can find a way to pull another weight though, just though "It's your last lift, better be your best" and what i was doing it for "if you can't do this then you'll probably get your ass kicked in rugby" and last rep was ez pz. I do have some problems locking out my left elbow sometimes, hopefully that isn't a problem saturday.

The meet yesterday went very well, here are my two best lifts!
Sorry for the shitty quality vids, apparently my mom is the only person who can fuck up automatic zoom T_T


Me on blackout rampage beast i will not fucking miss this lift mode:


Results:
snatch: 110(miss), 110, 117kg
clean and jerk: 135, 140, 145kg
total: 262kg
Sinclair: 299.88 (judge said he'd give me 300 )
1st Place 94kg Class (only 94kg lifter lol)
Best open male lifter

Front Squat - 2x3x225 2x2x275 5x1x295 (in pounds not kg)
Snatch - 2x40 60 80, 2x2x90 (stopped here, bit of pain in my left lat/mid back)
CJ - 2x2x80, 100, 110, 120 (PR double for 120)
Back Squat - 2x3x140, 2x2x150, 2x1x160, fail at 170

Food - 8 eggs, 1/4lb beef, 1/4lb chicken, NEED MOAR MILK

9/20/11 Workout
Front Squat - 3x135,185,205,225,245, 3 singles at 275
Followed up by rugby practice.
Just trying to work up to squatting 5 days a week and seeing how it goes. Pretty sore from yesterdays brutal workout.
Diet - eggs, chicken, then a couple girls came over and made some chicken/potato mix for our house. delicious!

Yeah i kinda figured that would happen, but thats why i was happy i won best overall lifter not just my weight class ^_^

Took last two days off lifting and had our last practice before our first Division 1 game. TIME TO RAMPAGE COME SATURDAY.
