Hello TL folks. This is my first blog post so please be gentle with me
Let me introduce myself, my name is Broesly and I`ve been around gaming for a few years now. I was quite hesitant at first to post here, but i finally brought myself to do it!
Ever since I realized I`ll never be a pro-gamer at anything I switched my focus to managing teams since I desperately wanted to participate in the gaming scene. From managing low level DotA teams to attending ESWC 2010 with a top DotA team I`ve landed a job as a manager for RAGE e-Sports at their SC2 division last winter. I honestly think I did a fine job there till the organization decided to close it's gates this summer due to lack of funding. There I did the usual manager stuff, also scouting a few players who have turned out to be very good now, like Welmu, Kalin, Cyclone, ThomasG. Ever since then I was extremely bored and very eager to find my way back into a team again.
I think my best qualities are loyalty and taking my job very seriously, what the hell, I love being in the scene, even if it's not the elite. I`m looking for an EU or even NA based team interested in my services as a dedicated manager. I`m not looking to get rich or anything, this is passion for me, though NA account would be nice if i get signed there.
Feel free to contact me via PM!
The Broesly!

Not the way to go about finding a managerial role. I don't know any one of those players you listed, but your best bet is to check team websites to see if there are any openings or start back from the ground up (which can be long and tedious if you don't know any insiders). In other words, gather a few friends, practice train, join clan leagues, get results, pitch your team to sponsors and go up from there.
If you aren't known, you have to make yourself known. Words are just words. Need more action.

Thanks for the advice Star, I`ll keep it in mind, but as I said, I dont mind small teams either, even those without websites. Who knows, maybe I`ll get lucky. Again, thanks for the advice

Maybe not the way to find a manager role, but you definitely won't lose anything by posting here IMO.
Oh and btw, Welmu and Kalin are pretty known, unless you don't follow EU scene at all.
But anyway, good luck to you sir.

They don't ring a bell to me. :<

I've heard of Welmu and I'm from the NA scene. Best of luck Broesly, theres always teams out there willing to find a good, dedicated manager.

Thanks a bunch Whiplash! <3

I've heard of those players and from what i recall Kalin was pretty strong. So sad to hear that Rage is over and done. Best of luck to ya champ. I'm sure you'll find something, seeing as the scene is growing rapidly and that there are so many talented players out there.

Ever thought of creating a completely new one?
I mean, I'm not interested myself right now, but there are many players here with great potential that would dedicate their whole free time shaping up a decent team while becoming pretty good.
I don't know, if I was good at managing stuff I'd probably do it myself, lol. Seeing how great the potential is..

Hehe, tried it Geovu, but the players are so silent, I feel like we lack communication

wasn't ThomasG pretty good in WC3?
|
