Ok so, thanks to the inspiration from Ghin (and the tons of laughs from his amazing D2 blog! http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?topic_id=260390) and the love of d2 along with the thousands of hours playing this game, i have decided to start a d2 adventure. Also i would like some input and interaction with my followers (also i may stream a bit so you can enjoy the fun if that is something you guys are interested in) so i will have a few polls while i get everything figured out.
(also i am in china till the 6th, so i cant start until then)
It will be hardcore (if its something insane and i die really quick, you can always lol on stream and i can try again or a different build)

*clarification: Bnet = i make games, if people join then they join. I will not accept freebies but can initiate/make trades (fair trades of course). I will not join any public game, or accept a rush/help of any kind (high level help)
Will probably add some more later, and suggestions always welcome below.
Also about my D2 experience. I have played pretty much every normal build imaginable and have had around 4 accounts + of fully built characters (minus skill lifers most of the time). Usually always make a smiter on resets (except last 2) and had a max of 25k fg at jsp, and usually hung out at dcloneirc.

interesting idea. i was recently playing d2 single player because i was without internet. i would really like to see an enchanting melee sorc!

Poison melee necro with no minions or henchmen!
Not as exciting as a bear ench sorc but it'd still be funny to watch you try to not die haha
Edit: Cleric who uses a bow hench to kill everything would be even funnier :O

Or a wolf/bear barb then? You start off with an easy melee class and then morph it into an awesome beast of death. With auras of course.

Voted mainstream strong build cuz I need to learn. Can never have enough of these D2 adventures.

You start without any items and may only use what you find (or trade) on the way, right?
Go for a Ninja or whatever it's called: an Assassin who attacks with Blade Fury. The last char I played was one. She had good survivability and you don't see that build every day. The damage output is a bit lacking for hell, but it's certainly doable.

Voted for my own suggested build, it's going to be a challenge especially in single player mode, but I'll tune in to hear you rage about it. GLHF

Keep in mind he's playing untwinked so getting those crazy runewords for oskill items is highly highly unlikely.

A few ideas for characters if you're still taking some :
Holy freeze or holy thunder paladin
Tiger Strike/Dragon Tail/Death Sentry assassin
Spearzon (did they fix fend yet?) ; Firebow zon (or fire/ice)
Berserk/Concentrate barb using warcries to lower defense and damage
Poison necro
Werebear druid (maybe using fireclaws?)
Nova/Meteor sorc ; Frozenorb / hydra sorc
Paladin and assassin builds there don't require much in terms of gear at all. Easy even with bad stuff.

Bow paladin (will probably do this one first)
blade fury Sin
poison melee necro
hybrid barb
Keep them coming, excited to start the 6th

i have about 4 geared (SU'd) characters on D2Maniacs MXL. I also have played through hell unleashed and a few other mods. I've done about everything in D2 to be honest lol, well except document/share my epic adventures. So here we are lol.
