Panels in live streams

Hmm this is my first post in teamliquid..

Hi, first of all sorry for my bad english.

I am looking for a way to display the panels (banner, score board etc.) over a game in full screen, like what day9 or other streamers did in their stream.

Anyone know if there are any softwares that can accomplish this?

Get Xsplit, its really easy to add your own images and stuff. You can put text straight on and edit that and bobs your uncle. There are other options for overlays but thats the easiest.

But XSplit seems more like a live streaming program. Actually I would like to just cover some parts of the screen when running some programs in full screen mode (without physically cover the monitor). Is it possible?

Irfanview, place always on top, that is how they post their overlays.

Warning though - play with infran for awhile to find the hotkeys and settings to get everything the way that you want. It is not the most intuitive program out there, but is highly functional.

Aw don't use phrases like "Bobs your uncle" when someone's already concerned about their english (which was totally fine btw).

And yeah irfanview is quite good when you get it going good.

Aww thanks all. I will try irfanview now.
By the way I just checked wiki and learned this new phrase lol.

"Bob's your uncle (sometimes elaborately Robert's your mother's brother) is an expression commonly used mainly in Britain and Commonwealth nations. Typically, someone says it to conclude a set of simple instructions to mean, "And there you have it", or "You're all set".
