I just realized today that this topic makes me so happy and I have no idea why 
Let's post our online love stories and let's not be douchebags and post remarks about how dumb it is to have online crushes.
Okay, so I have a story.
A pretty girl added me on Myspace five years ago. I'd never met or even heard of her before. We started talking and I found out she was a year younger than me and lived relatively close. I didn't want to meet, though. I was too embarrassed so I'd always have a new excuse. I really liked her, though. And she seemed to like me. After around two years of talking and texting and conversing, she just would NOT take 'no' for answer and said she was coming to visit whether I liked it or not. I couldn't stop her, so I just let her come to me.
Except that something happened and she couldn't come and then I moved out of my parent's house and started living with my sister about three hours away from them, so I thought I was safe, but THEN she was visiting an uncle who lived about 20 minutes from my sister's place and I was just stuck. What could I do? Again, I just let her find me.
Our first meeting wasn't that bad, to be honest. I made sure to keep extra distance and not make eye contact, but she invited me to sit closer and while we were watching Trading Spaces together, she kissed me.
We kissed some more and then she left. Then she said she was coming back the next day and that we were gonna have a sleep-over. I took this to mean she was going to let me have sex with her. I was pretty anxious about her suggestive plans for the next evening and I didn't sleep for a single second that night. I was losing my mind.
When she arrived the next day, she had an old SNES in her dumb messenger bag and ran and changed into her pajamas and I was so fucking angry because I knew we weren't going to be doing anything. I had worried and obsessed over nothing.
I was taking it all out in the game and I swear to god, I've never tried so hard to win at Mario Kart in my entire life, I was throwing turtle shells at her every chance I had, it was just merciless. She could tell I wasn't having "fun" and said "Wow, I forgot this was "Serious Game" night, Jesus." and then she got up to eat something in the kitchen and I was so ashamed of myself for behaving this way so I reached into the freezer for some vodka. Two bottles. One plain, one blueberry. She asked for some blueberry.
Well, we're drinking a little bit and then a little bit turned into a lot and then we were watching some DVD (Mean Girls, I think?) and we're laughing and having a GREAT time and I thought I had really turned things around for myself.
Well, then I blacked out and woke up in a chair and she was asleep on the couch and I thought "Oh well .... such is life ...." but I (and I cannot explain why I did this) just got up and laid next to her and yanked the blanket off of her. I was not sensually laying beside her, I was getting comfortable. It woke her up and we kissed once and then fell back asleep and then she left the next day and said "Well ... it was nice meeting you" and kissed me and then I felt so happy that she was gone. I don't know why, there was just so much going on in my head that I needed her to leave so I could sort things out.
I thought I totally ruined it, but we kept talking and met up a few more times and it was .... weird. Anyways, I haven't talked to her in a few months.
What are your stories? Let's not be shy with them, now.

How is that an ultimate win? He felt super awkward for a while and thought he'd turned it around so he'd get laid, and then it turned out that he in fact did not - and then future interactions between them were again super awkward.

Well, there's nothing unbelievable about it. I suppose it's strange that she would kiss me on our first meeting, but this is because of two reasons:
1. We really seemed to love each other
and
2. She is very big whore
I didn't find out number 2 for quite a while after the fact, but it certainly makes sense now.

Sounds like the girl was teasing him. What a bitch! Is it just me or did she come out as a slut in the tone of the OP? (Just feels "slutty" that a girl comes in and just kisses a guy when they want to meet for the first time IRL)
I personally got into a date with a girl online, she was going to the same college as me, she made it obvious she had a crush on me online, but as we met, she felt like a wall. No emotions, she wouldn't even talk, but she was really invasive. It's weird how some people are.

There was a reason why I behaved that way, she kept building this up into something it obviously wasn't and then she comes strolling into my house acting like we're LIGHT-HEARTED BEST FRIENDS FOR LIFE WHO SOMETIMES KISS NO BIG DEAL and it made me mad.

She would just poke me for no reason or just take my stuff without saying a word showing emotions.
ie: get out of my room, go to the kitchen, get a drink/food and come back. No words or anything, it was really awkward.
PS: Online she was a very social, but IRL, she was very asocial quite surprised TBH that she did everything to get to meet me.

I met this girl on Stickam, and we ended up texting for like 2 years, telling stories about what was happening in our lives or w/e. Of course 99% of it was lying, because we were trying to impress each other, but whatever. Eventually we stopped talking because she turned into a massive slut and I kept telling her she was a slut, but she was like "nah i'm just good." Then I told her I was going to columbus for MLG, and she was like "ohh come over and fuck me," but then she found out that mlg was a video game tournament so she didn't talk to me anymore because I "bored" her. Love online friendships..
OP's mistake was not telling the girl that she looked like Rachel McAdams during Mean Girls, would have given you a good shot with her.

Ok I met up with this girl online and we lived a few towns away from eachother. She invited me over to go out on halloween night with her(I was 13 at the time). Then when we got home she showed me her bed and told me to get under the bed and hide there. Her mother came in and asked where I had gone and she said I already left. After the mother left she said "ok now let me show you something". She was on the bed under the covers. As soon as I finished standing up I asked "what?" She replied by taking up the covers revealing her naked body. She then asked me why I was looking so nervous(I'm a shy guy and this did not help with that). I said "uhh... give me one sec I need to use the rest room". I went in the rest room, grabbed a towel, and came back. I then asked her to stand up so I could show her something. She stood up and I covered her with the towel and left promptly afterwards while making sure neither parent saw me. Not the best story of my life...
