While many in the starcraft 2 community may think thebestfou is a cheesy
1-2 base all in terrible player, he managed to take 3 games off of one the best teams
in korea in zenex. He showed he can manage a macro game on 2 different maps in games 6/7 with
terran mech style. His use of mech was good and it won him games that his team needed to win in
todays team league match. Thebestfou will be coming to mlg raleigh at the end of august along with
others on his team of fxopen e-sports. Choya, slog, optikzero, tgun, moonan,oz should all be
returning to mlg. A lot of people also criticized Choya as being a bad player but now a lot
of skeptics seem to think that Choya is actually good. The same can be said about thebest and I
believe Choya and Thebest will do just fine at mlg raleigh. As long as these players practice
with the greatest starcraft 2 players the world has to offer and practice long hard enduring
hours in korea, these players will have the necessary skill to compete in the highest level
tournaments like mlg. I look forward again in Raleigh to see how practice makes perfect
by not just the koreans but foreigners who trained in and outside of korea.
I look at the gomtv stream and always see a lot of foreigners in the crowd. Firstly what do
most foreigners do/work for in korea? English teaching job/companies? Secondly why are there so
many foreign fans watching starcraft2? 5 years ago no one really gave a crap about brood war, now
in 2011 there is an influx of 100k+ starcraft2 fans worldwide. Why such a growth in starcraft2/esports
world in 2011 and beyond? I have speculations but w/e... gg esports well played.
