Even though it was a show match and Boxer was leagues ahead of YellOw (for obvious reasons) I still had so much fun watching that this morning. John the translator said it right on: "I felt younger watching them play."
The entire time I was watching it, I had a banana grin from ear to ear. Not once did it leave my face. My cheeks actually stung after a while because I had been smiling so much. I felt like I was 13 years old again watching these two go at it. I felt like a little kid again. I can't remember the last time anything gave me that sense of nostalgia. I really hope YellOw does decide to continue playing SC2, even if not professionally, just to see these two go at it again.
It really was an amazing feeling to watch'em again. I know this probably sounds like a weird blog post, but, I was curious if anyone else had felt the same way?

Wahh, I can't believe I missed that. I even made a note to myself to not miss it. =(

I believe you can watch them on gomtv.net I think they're free? The HQ stream was free, so, the vods may be as well.

I didn't pay attention to Brood War when these two were at their peak, but even I had heard about the Yellow/Boxer Rivalry. Since SC2's release I've read up on the history of SC1, etc and watching the showmatch had a similar effect on me. Just seeing those two on the stage together again in front of so many people is literally unbelievable.

It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from an old blues song:
I love old friends because they knew me as a young man.
This is what Boxer/Yellow was to people. Old times, memories, and fun.
