EPTWe had a few clan wars and we were looking good. My players ranged from D- to C+ so there was a point of which we started to actually appear in the top 250 teams and I was satisfied with myself. I was young and the team started to die slowly after being inactive due to school and such, my friend tried to keep the team alive however we both knew it was pointless. After that I continued to iccup and then soon after Starcraft 2 came out.
Immediately I decided to dedicate all my time to this game. I won all my placement matches and immediately got put into diamond, this was of course when Grandmaster and Master league didn't exist. I was at the top league and I thought I was actually good at the game. Shortly after I got into team games and that somehow threw me off my 1v1'ing. Master league came out soon after and I was stuck in mid diamond and couldn't get past that, I then had an idea to create another team. I was 15 years old and I was googling everything about how to start a team that could possibly prove to be prosperous. There were no channels, I didn't have the slightest clue on how to make a website, and I knew that finding good players would prove to be a nightmare.
However I had a dream of me one day managing a high masters/GM team that proved itself worthy. I asked my friend one day, and he said it wouldn't be possible. I was frustrated at the thought about this being a repeat from my old BW team that I failed to manage properly. I soon found out how to make a website and quickly created it, got the forums running, and I asked my friend what the name should be. After several minutes of tossing names around, he jokingly said "NeO)", a top tier Broodwar clan that died out. I knew it was the perfect name, I set up the channel on Starcraft 2, NeO) and I was glad because this was actually coming true. Me and my friend started recruiting members by spamming team channels and general chats. We've had 20 members within the first week and it was time to set up our very first clan war.
Thanks to the thread made by GGTesomas I was able to challenge his team, and I managed to get it casted. I was excited, nervous, and anxious to see what the final result would be. We managed to win it 4-3 and it was extremely close. After that; merges, recruiting, and more clan wars I stand here proudly announcing we are 17-6 for clan wars and I lead a prosperous team. My name is Anton and my dream is finally accomplished.
