Man, I'm so sick of being bad at macro. I wish I was grandmaster (because I will play faster  ) but seriously, I get supply blocked a lot, and my main problem is when I go to attack my resources sky rocket lol. I always get at least 1k/1k and then when I notice it, mentally I go "oh this looks bad" and then I queue up 5 colossi and make a bunch of units to make my money go lower xD I have been playing platinum players though recently (I'm gold, #1 ranked) so that might be the reason why I feel so bad lol. Hopefully with some more playtime I can get better  My main goal is to get to masters by the end of the year! So hopefully I can achieve that! FIGHTING!

Just keep playing the game. If you're having fun you'll be fine.

If there's anything, learn to a move and go back to macroing. Even if you run your 10 sentries into lings without a single one making a forcefield, you're improving your macro, which is more important in the long run that winning that one game.

Im a plat protoss and my macro.. is not the best ... but i like to grab some people from a reddit chat channel and play them 1v1 and only focus on not getting supply blocked and multitasking i still hit that 1k/1k but i do it mainly in those intense micro situations :D just keep at it.. i know i am

Yeah, I get those urges too Stream watching is just too much fun! distracts me from actually playing lol

Man do I wish I had 3 hours a day during school days
I usually am too tired to play any ladder games or customs or don't have the time for that.
Only during the holidays do I have time.
I can tell that it's possible to get to Master league with your amount of time. But that is if you do spent your time playing games rather than watching stream etc.
I rarely watch streams only on few exceptions like if it's a good player of my race (in my case it's T) or if it's a big tourney like MLG or GSL stacked group.
It's best to just play than to watch :p I play whenever I can :D

No being grandmaster doesnt make you play faster. Playing faster makes you grandmaster (Excluding other key factors ie mindset, understanding of mechanics etc etc)

Overmake production buildings. If your macro is bad, just go full out. day9 talked about it a few days ago in one of his questions, and he basically said that as long as you are doing SOMETHING to deal with the issue, its better than just being like "argh, my macro sucks". 4gates piling up your resources? drop a 5th!

Yeah if you pile up resources dont que things like you did you want to make more production buildings like this guy said. When you que units your just tying up resources for no reasons to make yourself feel better about bad macro.

Don't worry too much.. i'm grandmasters and my macro is awful.. (1.5k minerals 12 min into the game lololol)
