"My fellow's , I have called you here today not in vain, but so that me might address the greatest threat to our way of life since the coming of the swarm.
To begin i blieve it would be fitting to say that our current epidemic is an offshoot of that same ancient calamity. When the Zerg arrived out our door step we were forced to learn and adapt in order to survive an ever escalating conflict with our enemies. As we grasped desperatley at a means of sucess we stumbled upon some truly brilliant innovations that served us even after the war. But now a similarly incredible technological breakthrough threatons to do the reverse and wound us rather than aid us once our batlles have been fought. Citizens of the dominion, i bring you face to face with our nations greatest threat yet.
The average labourer/scv requires food, drink, shelter, lodging and pay, the mule requires nothing. It does not live, it works till death , it costs only energy and it is around 4.5-6 times more efficient at gathering minerals than the scv.
For now the mule is am experimental and temperamental piece of technology that functions for no more than a day. But the dominion is not blind, scientists are continuously striving to develop a fully functional mule because the realize what this technology means for the war more so than any weapon. The mule is the edge that our dominion has been desperately searching for, it is the key to our success, but also the way to our demise. If the mule becomes fully operational it will replace all scvs and put thousands of men out of a job.
This war has allowed the dominion to do anything to win, this is it, by replacing all scvs with cheap free self sustaining mules, the dominion will simultaneously ensure its victory and destroy whatever stability currently resides within its labor force. The epidemic is already upon us, there have been reports of(and im not kidding about this) commanders throwing down several orbital commands( in order to sustain themselves off pure mules) and then sending all their scvs to die on the front lines. Its barbaric but its worked. We must abolish this certainly apocalyptic technology before it is too late."
