TO SAY HI TO ME.
I KNOW THE LAST ONE
WAS JUST YESTERDAY
BUT STILL.
Kinda weird. Yesterday I had a blog post about this. "Spanishiwa said hi to me", and Naniwa said hi in that thread too.
Today I was just bored, chilling on some chat rooms when this guy told me he added a bunch of pros on his buddy list.
I'm like "omg if I do thattt...."
So um, I think Blizzard screwed up because now I kinda added like 15 grandmaster players on my buddy list and had/am going to get a hi from them :D
Before reading my coversations, you have to understand that I was freaking out at the time.
Further more, my breakfast was only some frosted flakes that got me sugar high.
And that I'm suppose to be eating lunch instead of typing this.
So this is my list (so far) on the pros I added that were online at the time I posted this. So, naturally my smooth talking usually got a "hi" from various players. I guess I have a way with people -cough cough-

The mission is still ON, so this blog will probably get periodically updated throughout today.

I don't think it's too annoying; he just asks them to say hi, they do, and he doesn't bother them again (at least I'm assuming that). They might be a bit bewildered, but probably not annoyed.

and a suggestion, put all your previous ones in a spoiler tab, so people who are following this (i probs will) dont need to scroll through the excess stuff.
EDIT: oops, forget the stuff i said about the spoilers crap. i didn't realize that you do that. im too used to just opening up spoilers and pretend that they weren't spoilered. you still need to get TLO to say hi.

Man guys, don't be dicks. I think this blog is awesome, if you get a kick out of pro's saying hi to you good for you. I doubt they find it obnoxious to type two letters. If they're not flattered by Cyclone999s enthusiasm and blog they have their priorities mixed up

So you're one of these pathetics fanboys ruining streams sessions, warming-up fingers of progamers by forcing them to close hundreds of chat windows between games, and setting themselves to busy 24/7 so they are no longer bothered by pointless people, but at the same time people who matter to them are drowned in the middle of silly messages like "what keyboard do you use ?" "how do you defend X ?"

Well, I don't ask "silly messages", all I'm doing is collecting "hi" from various progamers.
Furthermore, I think a good analogy to this would be asking someone for their autograph. No, I'm not giving them an interview. No, I'm not asking them questions. All I'm doing is for them to sign their name on a piece of paper. Would they get annoyed by that? Possibly, but overall I'm pretty sure various progamers are happy to see such fans.
Furthermore, I do not talk to them while they are streaming. Or when they are in a game (except Pokebunny ) because I know that it disturbs viewers. Provided, I did find Spanishiwa on his stream but that was in a chatroom that many others were in too.

I will agree it does seem like something that is kind of annoying going around to pros and asking to say hi to them. However, the Tyler comment was very funny.

Jesus if you wanna bother people go to work and tell your boss to say hi to you while he is at the middle of audience.. same kind of thing.. bullsh.. Seriously have you ever been in situation where you have to relog because your sc2 is overloaded with msgs from guys like you?.. Thats right neither me ^^ but trust me it is NOT nice

Hhahaha. I remember be star struck back when I was a kid on BW. Going into the Neverdie clan channel and talking to cHalRengE was awesome; Jaedong was even there sometimes too.

Im not famous or anything, but if i was i really wouldnt want people messaging me when im trying to ladder, posting in my fan club, @mentioning me on twitter, Seeing people at events like MLG, those are ways i would want to communicate with fans. getting messaged on bnet when im practicing? no leave me alone. you wouldnt go to a football field and yell at tom brady while he is in training, so dont go on battle.net and yell at players while they are practicing

I wrote a lote of guides/made shoutcasts in the german language so naturally I get a lot of whispers when I log in. They are
20% - Thanks for doing what you do
10% - Hey, whats up? / Hi
40% - WHERE ARE THE NEW VIDEOS/GUIDES/WHY DO YOU HAVE A LIVE?
30% - Can you help me with problem X and teach me how to do that without charging any money for a coaching lesson because I am special? ^.^
I have absolutely no problem with people stopping by to say "Hello" when they don't harrass me afterwards ^^ (Thats mainly because I have a hard time saying "no" to somebody, so I spend a lot of time chatting)
And as its over in two weeks anyway theres not much harm that can be done ^^

Wow... he is just saying Hi.... seriously people in this thread need to calm down... It's not like he is actually spamming them or anything merely saying Hi! I understand that people messaging and harassing pros is a big problem, but this is clearly not one of those people.

Why respond in all caps? I understand you might be genuinely excited, but it comes off as being sarcastic.
If you're really a fan of these players, why not ask Gretorp, "what's in store for next season of NASL?" or ask Destiny, "do you plan on attending the next MLG?"
